9-11am: intraday trades. short into bounce short, buy into pullback in multiday breakout 11-2pm: work seasonally. very unpredictable 2-4pm: building a position shift. momentum shift usually comes after 2:30pm. or intraday trade or buyer insufficiency. first red day, swing short - most trades placed 10:30-10:45am where chart starts forming a recognisable pattern and trading sufficient enough volume - on average, need to wait between 30-45min after mkt open trading between 40M-50M volume & potentially develop a consolidation then you can size in as shorting position. for longs, need to wait 30-45mins as well as people tends to chase into b/o at market open then the mkt tends to reject them and people sell into dip, then you come and size into potential b/o - beginner mistake to place trade too rushed/ eager and end up taking loss because don't know volatility and spiking percentage after mkt open.
I new it, I was on to something. I was telling a friend when I got into the stock market. I would watch stocks and I notice there usually is a time frame for when the stocks go up or down and I recommended around the 9am -12 time frame you want to get a position or sale. Even doing a swing trade and getting in at 9am or 4pm can be the lowest point and you can sell the following day if the volume is there. I also notice sometimes when the market is crazy or if the stock has a lot of hype. selling pre market 4-6am or 5pm you can get some good short term gains because the stocks seem to shot up in those time frames but you have to time it right and setup a limit sale with what you think the price may go up to more or less.
this helped me out so much. I've been tracking this time data exactly how you described but you saved me so much time and analytics. This is what i thought about those same exact time frames but now you've summed it up in a way that i feel will improve my trading dramatically.
The process to a big audience is slow but I admire you Steven for not leading with a bunch of bullshgit, you get to the point are blunt and organized in your ideas. You should have a million subscribers by now, at least, but the culture of life is to fill a video with garbage like bad jokes or feeding the ego of one's self while talking about money. Also, you aren't screaming into the camera with exaggerated facial expressions and so I can actually listen to what you have to say in fine detail. Again well done, love ya man, thank you, keep em coming!
If you trade with enough experiences, you will get to relate what this guy says. I just wish, there wil be more elaborations with more details and a longer discussion of this as I've slowly experiencced similar situations, without tracking too much statistics.
10.30-10.45, because u want to study the mid low and highest price first… and monitor the average price for the market, next wait the price make the move to drop until lowest of the average.. and that time, should buy it… is it right?
if you're waiting for consolidations after 30-45minutes after market open to short into, but also waiting after 30-45minutes to long into a potential breakout to buy during the dip, how do you know whether it's going to be a breakout or breakdown later? (or it depends on the market it has formed before the consolidation?) - i don't really know :(
Buying at market open in my opinion is the #1 mistake most beginning traders make. If I really want to be in a stock I find what works best is to set a limit buy a few percentages below current market price around 11:30 AM ET. 8 out of 10 times my buy order gets hit during the noon ET dip. Now I have the stock I want at the price I wanted.
hi, please tell me if a stock is active with great potential includes the SSR Uptick rule, how then to sell stocks in order to enter a position, since after the market opens, they fall more often.
When you track statistics. Do you take indexes in consideration? Like if the s&p 500 is up or down? Found a long pattern and tested it out today. Worked pretty well on AVXL. But the indexes also went up. So I wonder if it is necessary to track som major indexes as well?
Hi Steven, I am beginning my studying to learn calls, puts. And reading charts better. I'd love for you to cover SAVA. I believe it will meet lots of your criteria. And wondering how you would navigate it!
Hi there, can you go over how you would have played or reasons why you would have not played AACG? I got short squeezed, luckily it was on my paper trading account.
I like turn around Tuesday and Thursday Monday Madness and Friday Short scares. Wednesday is only good on big macro event days. Hey sorry to bother you but I just started trading with real money compared to my paper trading and it's hard for me to get in and out of positions. If I put a limit order, and it's well above the price and it doesn't get filled until a minute after or like today, it filled at 3 different time frames with different amounts....is that normal? Cuz I tried to get out of one position and it didn't fill me until it dropped big time but isn't it a 2 second delay? Not a half minute or passed that. Am I right orrrr is that normal and I should expect that moving forward?
I love, how he just slams the fact on the table, within the first 10 seconds

What does b/o mean?
Hi Steven, I agree. I find more consistency when I wait for breakouts between 10:30am-11am. Thanks for the info as always.
