11:11 @The Yarbros guys! Thank you for going to the local and taking the time to comment and sharing your insights about our food, It really means a lot!. We hope to see you again guys #cafetierranuestramx family will be more than glad to receive you!
Right downtown at the Latinoamericanos tower, there is a bar at the top where you can get an amazing view of the city. Best part is, if you let the attendants at the elevator know you want to go to the bar, you don’t pay to go to the observation deck, you go to a small bar have a drink and some tapas, and enjoy the view without waiting. Also for the best view of the Bellas de arte building go to the café on the 8th floor of the Sears building across the street. Beautiful view
I must say...I really like your version of the building names....lol! For the Torre Latinoamericana you made it the Tower of all Latinoamericanos (more inclusive!) and for Palacio de Bellas Artes...Palace of Fine (or Beautiful) Arts, yours sounds more like you're speaking of the Beautiful women who inspired Art!....I love it 😀!
I have been here for 3 months and find new things almost every day. I would recommend the Cuicuilco archeological zone as one of my favorites - a circular pyramid inside the city (close to UNAM) with a nice little hiking trail.
Nice video , I have been to Casa del Fuego, their eggs benedict is awesome. CDMX has a lot of hidden gems. If you are looking for hidden ruins go to Calle Argentina and you can see some ruins that were excavated. Also a quintessential neighborhood is Coyoacan. It is the first neighborhood that the Spanish established when they came to Mexico so it has the most amount of colonial history.
More to the south of Narvarte there's Miguel Angel de Quevedo avenue, and even Miramontes Avenue. Coapa and Acoxpa are two neighborhoods at the edge of the inner city, at the border of Xochimilco, and all these places are middle to middle high. It's the leisure destinations for locals that don't usually go too north. All these are still in the Coyoacan borough.
Don't be confuse. One branch of the "feminism" movement in CDMX (all these vandals are painting the cultural patrimony in the city) is just controled by a political party that are angry for his lost privileges ($$$$ you know what I mean).
I hear you....i know what you mean. Still dosent take away from all these girls/ women coming up missing and turning up dead. Still a serious problem that demands some serious attention.
My heart and eyes were full soon as I saw the Indigenous faces and the warmth in their eyes as they served you a meal. Thanks for the tour... breathtaking Zocalo and the ancient ruins, Bellas Artes... palacious theatre and impressive murals. And of course talented Frida Kahlo and Casa Azul in Coyacan. Museo Nacional de Antropologia is phenomenal, numerous hidden gems of magnificent Mexico. Love your laughter and videos.
I miss CDMX so much! Can’t wait to go back in a month! ❤️ Check out Xochimilco and take a trajinera ride. Also pueblo mágico of Malinalco, is about 1.5 hours from CDMX and is absolutely stunning!! Thank you for an awesome video!
Have you been to Frida Khalo’s house in Coyoacán? It’s interesting. Also, if it’s open now, find The Delores Olmedo Museum. She was a friend of both Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera (and probably one of Rivera’s lovers!). She was very wealthy (she passed away in the early 2000s), and her home/museum is full of wild and amazing Mexican art, including lots of works by Frida Khalo. There are also peacocks on the grounds, as well as some “Aztec” dogs (they’ve been around since the Aztecs). They’re called Xoloitsquintle (yeah, try to pronounce that!), commonly called Xolos (“Sholos”). Very strange looking dogs, medium height, grey or brown, mostly hairless except for a tuft of hair on their foreheads. I find them fascinating, esp. since the breed is probably thousands of years old. And, of course, I’m sure you’ve been to Teotihuacán, the pyramids outside CDMX. (Didn’t I see a video of you there?) one of my favorite places on earth. Thanks for another cool video!
What sets you apart, is that you promote and give little airtime to the small restaurant you go to. Goes a long way for them. You now have one more fan in Phoenix but originally from CDMX
That was fun guys wasn’t expecting that! Nothing like some secret exciting scavenger hunt for a hidden bar, now I want to go find it lol. The coffee place looked cool too.
Another great vid! Thank you. We will be in CDMX next week for NYE and staying for over a week. So.... How do we get into Hanky Panky, including the address and pw? Tell me what I need to do to get this info from you. Thank you so much for your help!
Hotel Casa Awolly/ Roma Norte - You Guys would LOVE it! Late night dancin - Lenor ( small place open till 6AM) in the Condessa Rosa Negra /Polanco $$$ but worth it. Terrace Cha-Cha-Cha ( they have a Gin cart ) and serve grasshoppers on the guac. Xaman Bar in Zona Rosa. The Castle of Chapultepec is A MUST!!!!

I enjoy your videos very much, you guys make a nice couple, very mellow personalities, try to film at El Zocalo the moment when they take the flag down, it's a "must see" show. Thanks for visiting Mexico!
Absolutely loving the content and style of your last few videos. You guys stand out in the world of Mexico tourism review channels. Loving the commentary on local politics and culture. Feel like I'm really learning about the place. 👍
Welcome to Mexico City 🙂👍🏻 I am from here and this is the first video i see in your channel, you can't miss to go to Coyoacan Center (closest subway station is Coyoacan)! Loved by us and by tourists. You can visit Leon Trotsky house close there. And Frida Kahlo museum too. I think Coyoacan center is the best place for international tourists, and locals we love that place too
@7:47 we met that guy as well!! Talked to him for almost an hour. He had such an interesting life story. And so sad to hear how badly covid affected him 😔
What you said about Uber - my very first Uber ride was in CDMX. It was the best! Safe, clean car, kind driver, quick and reasonably priced. I will never get into a taxi in CDMX again. Uber is the way to go! That and the Metro - dirt cheap, fast, only minus is it’s way too crowded during rush hour.
Yeah, they used to be awesome but it seems like DiDi is beginning to take over. They have been more reliable and less expensive for us the past couple of months.
O.k. I wasn't really interested in watching anything about Mexico City, but of course you both make everything good! Entertaining and surprising ! Now I gotta go back and watch your other Mexico city videos 😆 you make me like places I thought I hated

Eso puede pasar a cualquier hora en cualquier Ciudad, o en tu recamara.
