Hashaton is a really interesting commander, but he's absolutely a sideliner for this deck. I'm even considering removing if, but I realized Temmet also discards a card, so Hashaton synergizes with him. Hashaton just makes zombies, that's it. He deserves his own deck with better and more reliable discard outlets. Yes, he does make the zombies, but I think he would serve greater making copies of non-zombie creatures. Zombies are like black elves. A few good value pieces, but better together. Hashaton can have better value when you don't restrict yourself to a tribe
Maybe it was because of the budget but Warren Soul Trader should be in every deck that Gravecrawler is in just incase you need it. Also Unstoppable Slasher is a zombie and very good.
I’m so excited for this deck, first thoughts was gravecrawler rooftop storm, and I have a spare kindred discover so I was just gonna add some way to sac and go crazy that way😅
Great upgrade guide! Maybe the next time a little more structure would be appreciated. Was dizzy from you scrolling up and down and covering the cards one by one with short explanatory insights one after another would be perfect :)
I've been enjoying the hype for this precon and i feel like i lucked out since been working on a queza auger of agonies deck. A lot of thr cards ive been including there kinda just go here too so thats exciting

@@TaunaMTG The dream: Have 10 zombies including Varina, roaming throne, and on wings of gold. Draw, for turn, get +2 from Temmet. Play a zombie card and trigger Kindred discovery for another +2. Go to combat and swing out, Kindred discovery triggers drawing you 10 cards, giving you +20, Then Varina draws you 20 cards, giving you an additional +40, then temet draws you 2 more cards giving you plus 4. You give your entire board +69 that turn.
This list looks more confusing with the additions because removing Zombies to add non zombies is a bit off and nesting dove hawk over Necroduality makes no sense unless you are making a deck for the backup commander. Also curious on why Noxious Ghoul isn’t included because he’s the zombie tribal Archfiend of ifnir.
Nesting will grow huge, but agreed about Necroduality. Didn't realise it had come down in price quite so much. Added it, but it just further encourages Nesting IMO.
@@TaunaMTG I get the uses for nesting don’t get me wrong I just think that not using Nesting here would open the budget up for more zombie synergies. Yeah they just reprinted Necro in innistrad so more players will get access to it.
Dying to serve, dusk, never, are all inefficient and slow, I'd cut those for more anthems. There's better removals as well that could be used that are more mana and thematically efficient. Looking at the upgraded list it appears to be more scattered than the original list.
Blasphemous edict, mortuary, raise the palisades, endless ranks of the dead, call to the grave, grave pact are all better options that should be included.

Please include sections to your video. I know how the deck works and just wanted to know what you included and cut from the deck. That’s hard to find.
You need to pump out more shorts for the algorithm. YT currently pushes them harder than full videos
Necroduality is what I’m most excited for. Purchased it yesterday
At reprint pricing it's hard not to include this upgrade.

You could deck yourself out, but also buff each zombie to like +25/+25 lol
I think if we had some kinda trample enabler, maybe. Though we do have flying. Maybe Fear?

You can buy non-english copies for pennies on the dollar
Yeah, my issue was more just the budget. Replacing the board wipes is next, including adding Kindred Dominance too.
Is there a reason why you're not running the other commander?
With this upgrade, I just wanted to aim towards keeping the main commander at the helm. Both are great, but need slightly different things.
