- Historic clock restoration specialist Chuck Roeser performs maintenance and sets the E. Howard & Co. clock tower for Daylight Saving Time in the old, red Dallas County Courthouse, now known as Old Red Museum, in downtown Dallas. Roeser makes a pair of trips every year to adjust, clean and set the daylights savings time, which begins early Sunday morning. (DMN video/editing: Tom Fox)

Great to see a piece of history there, Where i am live, my city does not have a chiming clock, We have two working clocks in a churches and that's it. One was restored a few years ago, but that ran out of funding to fix the chimes, Another clock tower is been restored above a pub, which has not worked for nearly 40 years! Our town hall was pulled down in 1963 and the where about of the original clock workings and bells are not known, the council said its all in storage, but my grand parents said everything was scrapped long ago. My gran said she knew someone who worked in area where it was stored originally and they said that the workings were rusted solid and just scrapped. The bells were said to be in some building near the river. But everything along the river side has been redeveloped now, so they will have more likely seen the same fate as the workings did. But that's our council for you, flatten listed building,
