Melvin, you are just the coolest. Proud to call you my friend. Thank you for all your hard work in editing and carefully filming all these, and giving us so many great tips!
@@TheMelvinWei I feel like all plants that you enjoy growing are worth keeping, regardless of the viewership. But if you won't have much space, then I guess it could be a deciding factor.
My papaya tree had some kind of bugs on it and every time it grows out a new leaf it just dies off but I don’t think that is happening anymore so it still struggling to grow new leaves and they should stay on without dropping
Hi Melvin! Just found your channel and wanted to say I like your content. I’ve been learning about papaya trees for the past couple of years and they’re such a fun tree to grow! And I don’t even like the fruit 🤣 I accidentally killed my tree recently so I planted some seeds 2 weeks ago.
Yeah I don't like the pukey taste of papayas either, haha. The ones I ate/tried for this series were actually not too bad but it's still not a good tasting fruit.
literally was watching your older videos yesterday before planting more seeds lol, no air flow and always 99 percent humidity in my greenhouse so no soil drying out therefor struggle city all season, even in pure sand lol still alive but yea, next year will be my year forsure, no more fertiliser for me (just some compost) and no more watering lol
Love the series man. I'm no expert but what do you think this would have done in a regular type soil with perlite and sand for drainage? I assumed you were simulating a tropical environment but I've seen these grown in the desert in straight trash soil just fine. Just curious as I planted a few in seed starter
im happy that I met you and I watch your videos without your help and motivation I would've never gotten into plants! thank you so much Melvin Wei!

Thank you Pam! Hope everything is going well for you.
Those are looking great. I hope the moving will goo smoothly not only for you, but also for the plants.
I hope so. I'll be pulling out some plants that are not doing well/not garnering viewership to free up room for new content.

Is the pomegranate still alive?? I am on the edge of my seat now for months excited for an update.
Great content

less is more baby, my pineapples would agree aswel lol, you moving again already? is the reason plant related at all?
Your back up papaya is growing very well but I see that your main papaya died but all the other papayas look very healthy good luck on growing them
I think your mixture has less soil and more sand
Melvin could you maybe make a pomegranate update next because I really want to see how your pomegranate is growing
Everytime u post I stop everything to watch!😭
did you dilute the hydrogen peroxide ? Your first papaya experiment looked good !
No, I just used the 3% straight out of the bottle.
The issue is with your plants is because of overwatering dont water much to papaya tree as they are tropical plants
Those seeds almost look like caviar
You are watering way way too much that’s why you lost them
