How can the second and third most expensive German stamps from the 21st century be? Were they released in a small load?

For the Aubrey Hepburn, 14m of these were ordered by the German Post Office, but an error was found and they were to be destroyed. Only 30 left, unissued. The ones that got sold saw the proceeds go to Hepburn's favourite charities. The location for the rest are unknown.

Get an expert to look at it. If you have stamps in your collection that are printed in "error", then it will be substantial amounts because of its rarity. In the meantime, do your research through the internet first, so you can understand where the values lie in your stamp collection and most importantly have a list of relevant questions to ask, b4 you go to an auction house or an expert stamp consultant to find the estimated value of your stamp collection.
