I actually love the game. I can not compare it to DBD as it is very different strategies. This game involves in being very stealth and cautious whoch in my opinion is great as it is based on the true events.
@@Sheridan2LT The movie is based off of a true story though. So it very much is. They just exaggerate the stuff that actually happened. So it’s way more enjoyable/entertaining for the audience.
Short answer yes. But it won’t kill dbd. I think it’ll have its own audience just like Friday the 13th. It’s a fun game if you like the killer vs survivor asymmetrical horror games. And are tired of dbd.
You mentioning Friday 13 would've been great if its current population wasn't an overwhelming amount of bots. I'd love to play it, but I legit can't find any server that has people consistently online
I don’t think any survival game could do that at this point. They have so much content. Pretty much impossible for a game that’s just released anyways. However they’re not the same type of survival game. So comparing them doesn’t make much sense.
@@Oldmangamessthey didn’t sell a million games, it reached a million players. If you look it up, more than half of the players reached is the Xbox pass people that got it for “free”. That’s like comparing HBO max subscription to Amazon Video when Amazon video is Automatically free.
I like it but my main issues are that it seems self-independent rather than working as a team to escape, your teammates don't really communicate even though you can see they've got microphones, and I keep getting a lot of teammates that just randomly disconnect
For victims, teamwork is rewarded but not necessary which is the best kind of implementation of teamwork. As family there is a much larger difference on how you perform on comms as opposed to no comms but it’s still not necessary once you get the hang of family. In dbd I found myself relying on teamates way too much and suprise suprise they didn’t help at all. I like how tcm balances team play with loner play, it feels way more reliable then dbd anyway.
I think comparing this game to dbd is like comparing the Sims (at least the older ones) and animal crossing. Both games are within a similar genre but play and feel different. Trying to label this the DBD killer will only make suffer as it will lead to false ideas about what this game should be like. While it no doubts has it's flaws, DBD fulfills a different role entirely in the gaming landscape and so does TCM. TCM requires team work for both killers and survivors to complete there goal, while teamwork in dbd fluctuates on constabt basis. Killers and dbd on forced to take everything on themselves while killing can be split for TCM. Forcing TCM into a "killer of dbd" role is not something we should want as it'll only cause it to become like VHS or even Last year. It'll become a shell of its former self as the fanbase devours itself trying to be better than the other
I like the game quite a bit but the current state of lobbies makes it more like an idle game where you just afk and check back every 5-8 minutes to rejoin a new lobby because your old lobby timed out and if you’re lucky you get to play a match. The issue is lobbies don’t backfill players that leave > 90% of the time and almost every lobby has at least one person leave. I don’t think the game will last that long but it’s definitely worth the money when you do get the chance to play it.
TCM isn't actually based off of IRL serial killers it is based off of the movies that are originally based off of Ed gene as the inspiration for the iconic "letherface" character and the rest was just added into a script from the creativity of a film crew and or director that was put into a film
I also wouldn't call it a masterpiece, I enjoyed it while I was younger and it's iconic, but I can't really say it has much that sets it apart from most slasher films
To keep it short, if you liked F13 the game you will like the game. If you did not then this is not for you. This will NOT dethrone DBD but it will have its own seperate fanbase. The community will die down due to people not liking it as much BUT the game will still have a good following down the road, as long as Gun can keep the license. You can quote me on this and i know for a fact this will be the case.
I remember one match of me trying to sneak my way into one of the doors to the central building in Gas Station to get inside and hide. Once I got in I searched for a unlock tool right there by the door that lead me in, and As I started to creep past it to go further in the building I saw Johnny slow walking up the front porch in my riff. That was shit was terrifying just though I'd share lmao.
I don't know about optimized, cause I've had a ton of freezes/crashes that always seem to happen when I'm doing well so I get booted out without my xp, so I'd love a reconnect feature to be put in but when I actually can play the game, I think it's pretty fun though no minimap is a pain cause the maps are so big and confusing xD I've gotten stuck in a loop as killer trying to figure out how to get from one area to another.
I really like the game, loved friday. TCM you actually have a chance to escape as the last survivor or alone before anyone dies if you know what youre doing. I like that having a half decent team isnt necessary to escape. Hit reg is good. Ive had a blast playing this, i just want more victims so i can play the character i want lol
This game shouldn't be compared to DBD but I will admit that one thing TCM does better than DBD: Depth. There is a steep learning curve for both roles but the payoff is immense. There's so many different strategies, perk builds, attributes, and playstyles. This game has legs, but if it ends up like Evil Dead I'm going to be pissed.
I’ve loved playing it, but my only issue is that I can’t play with friends on different generations of Xbox which sucks because I mainly wanted to play this with friends.
I got the game for free from my xbox gold pass, definitely worth it Even if i paid, it’d be worth it. The game feels so much more atmospheric and intense than dbd without the sweat
The gas station map where that door where the generator is where Johnny spawns outside. Is that supposed to be a way for survivors can escape? They need to fix that with a lot of Connie players have been abusing it on that map.
One of the things I love about this game is it actually feels different than other horror games and it's made by the same people who made Friday the 13th the game, it's so good been playing it a lot
if you pay attention to the little news reports at the start of the match they are leaving the game a little open ended to have a supernatural element in it. so that provided we COULD see an element of that brought over and see people brought over by "the lights" into whatever universe this is.
The great thing about TCM is the amount of different ways to escape. But the environments feel the same. After 100 games, it’s going to feel repetitive. In DbD, you get to go against or play as different iconic killers or survivors. Do I really want to keep playing as or against Leatherface? If people really want to play a game as a team of killers, go play Left 4 Dead.
There's room for both games. Both games has positives and negatives imo. But ofc TCM being the new kid on the block it will have a big surge of players. Lets see how things fare in 6 months. In any case I hope both games thrive.
The games have a similar idea, but I still don’t think they’re really comparable, but the amount of content in dbd is so extensive that for tcm to catch up is kind of gonna be a challenge, I’m not really sure how much else they can add to a game like tcm but I do hope it does well
Yes, but come on, don't be pathetic and think. It is a game that is not even 5 days old, what do you think? It has 3 maps and multiple killers and survivors, as time goes on they will add more. Your BDB crap when it came out didn't have all the crap it does now.
@@ale23kingj24 first off, it was merely an inference about what direction the game could possibly go, second of all, it’s it a licensed game, where as *DBD* not BDB, is an unlicensed game with licenses in it, it’s harder to add things like Michel Myers to a *Texas chainsaw massacre game*, third, did you even read my comment before going into a blind tirade? I said the game’s aren’t comparable meaning the gameplay is quite different and it’s difficult to tell how it will end up, and finally, “don’t be pathetic” if you looked at the last line, I said I hope it does well, DBD has needed competition for along time now, they’ve cornered the market and are getting complacent because they know no matter what they do they can get away with it, even if it pisses of the community, very similar to bungie and destiny 2 in that way, if you just put that much snarky bs in every comment than I just feel bad for you.
We'll see how people treat the game a few months from now, after the first major events likely at Halloween and Christmas. Maybe then, the Honeymoon Effect will have waned a bit and the more degenerate strats will start emerging because, well, competition. (bully squads, unstoppable killer combos, etc) But for now, the game is damned fresh and a MASSIVE improvement over Dead By Daylight. If it remains a strong contender long term will depend on future content and how far the developers are willing to push the concept of the game.
personally it looks pretty meh and repetitive. the reason i prefer dbd over this is that while dbd can also be repetitive, it still has a bunch more killers to it, you can have tons of different perk combos to spice up the game etc etc. Since it is Texas Chainsaw Massacre I dont see it getting licensed killers the same way dbd is. so its definitely gonna get an audience similar to Friday the 13th while people who enjoy dbd will probably still enjoy dbd more over this after some time.
I find it very difficult sometimes to find the victims when playing family. Once they find a way to balance that a bit better then it will be very very good.
I'll give this game a few months until the hype around it has died down so drastically, that all those "this is the DbD-killer"-people either quite those games completely or come crawling back to DbD. Streamers in particular will come back in masses, simply because their viewer count will drop extremely, when they swap DbD for a game, that has 2(!) maps and basically the exact same gameplay loop as DbD has...
I really enjoy the game, I just hope the toxicity that's growing dies down quickly. Getting stabbed constantly by bone shards just because a bully squad feels like it is the worst experience I've had so far.
servers need to be fixed asap. the dc during a match is so aids. trying to play with friends? sorry 2 people get kicked out of the game due to "ping". i am hopeful this is fixed ASAP as its horrible my internet speeds are fine and do not have this issue on other games. If its an issue of me being aussie that is really unfair. people outside USA shouldn't be able to play the game?
Its worth playing for free on PS+ and Gamepass (assuming you are paying for those anyways). Idk about dbd killer but there is a lot to learn about each role which is fun and playing your friends in either role is very nice. One thing which sucks is how often lobbies cancel with 6/7 people when one person leaves at around the 30 seconds mark, since its already harded to get a full lobby than DBD since you need 7 people.
Biggest difference is that DbD doesn't make stealth gameplay very effective against any killer. The perks that have something to do with stealth are weak in comparison with looping perks
its a fun game so far but some changes need to be made. Not sure if its possible to fix really, but it seems odd to not have an in-game friends list like every other game with crossplay. Not sure how else to send a code to a friend thats on playstation when you play xbox other than discord messaging. This might not seem like a big deal to people who obviously use discord every day, but its weird that this is pretty much the ONLY way to do this. Second most annoying thing to this is the fact the 5 (FUCKING FIVE) loadout slots to customize builds all pull from the same skill tree layout. Any one skill tree with 50 points put in only gives you like 8 perks by the end of it and all other perks are locked until you respec. Usually only 3 of those are random perk rolls along the way that you can spam into rerolls with your infinite respcs but its obvious that you cannot obtain exactly what you want with those rerolls because the random perk pool does not include every perk. How the hell can you make 5 unique loadouts using only 8 perks in total? -- Perks that you cant exactly select for in an optimal manner on the tree
It’s a nice change of pace game. Considering how much more content (maps, perks, characters, etc.) DBD has over TCM and likely always will since TCM is realistic and not arcadey, I don’t see a scenario where it’s ever a DBD killer. Both are fun though.
I do think there is some balance issues in the game right now. Just with one or two survivors~ Connie in particular is INSANELY strong and doesn't offsett it with like low health, speed or stamina. The other girl who can endure hits can make for an insane tank~ especially as both connie and other survivors level up their perks.
Lots of hours can be played in this game!!! I can see lots of interesting perk combos, levelling up special abilities will also take time... Looks very fun, interesting to see how they advance this game, say, in 1-2 years time.
I think BY FAR the biggest improvement to this game is the objective. In a game where I'm supposed to be running around and killers benefit from me running around in front of them. Why am I incentivised to be in the corner of the map holding M1? As opposed to needing to be risky and running around. It just makes the game boring to actually progress.
The formula may be the same (4 survi vs. 1/2/3 killer) but the game is totally different. Both can have a toxic part, but they will be fun nonetheless. Don't compare it to another one of the kind. Enjoy it till the last drop, as much as you can.
So here’s the problem with the game, it won’t let console players of different gens play with eachother. So I can’t play with my Xbox one friends bc I have a Xbox series which might kill it. Console players are some of the big reasons when a game has a lot of players, and to not be able to play with some of your friends is gonna kill it. Plus balancing issues on the side but they’ll hopefully figure it out. Having to wait 3 minutes before it readys everyone up is horrendous too
@@TheGenericZer0 This is such a terrible response. I’m so tired of the only response to this being “Stop being poor and buy a new system.”. The devs could have just ignored last gen and not even put it on there, but they didn’t. They wanted the money because they know a lot of people still don’t have current gen systems. People are just ignoring this fact. They should have just not released the game on these systems if they weren’t gonna try and make cross play work. The fact that PS4 and PS5 can’t even play with each other is a joke. Also you know tons of people are gonna buy this on last gen thinking they can play with their friends on say pc because they were told it has cross play and then they find out they can’t. And if they buy it digitally on those stores they aren’t gonna let you refund it just because they don’t have cross play. This isn’t Steam. Sony and Microsoft won’t just let you refund a digital game. Stop acting like it’s the fault of the players and not the devs. Stop shaming people because they can’t afford the new systems. If the game won’t work fully on last gen just don’t release it.
Last time i saw something get torn to shreds by a chainsaw, it happened to be more durable than human skin. Idk what that post was on about with this game being more realistic lol
The game seems cool, but the single biggest drawback for me, personally, is the voice chat. I was incredibly excited for Evil Dead: The Game, but voice chat and all the wretched and insulting things people would say over there, match after match killed any enthusiasm I had for the game despite my love for that franchise. I predict that same sort of toxicity will sprout up in TCM's lobbies in short order. People can act pretty repellent when they have a platform and anonymity.
At first.. I was getting irritated easily.. but then I was having a blast! BUT.. how long will this excitement last?? I was loving Friday the 13th for like 2 months. Then I basically hated the game. I hope I continue to love TCM!
My own personal thoughts from my experience trying to play the game: TCM flopped for me. When I had time to play I couldn’t play it because nothing was working. Whatever it’s a new game a lot of people are playing it, heard the servers were being stupid from a lot of people. Then when it was working I tried again and it took FOREVER to find a match. Annoyed I figured it was because I was soloing. So I asked some friends to join and play with. Then for some reason I can’t join them. Turns out they disincluded the last generation of consoles from crossplay. You know, the kind of console I use because IT’S WHAT I CAN AFFORD, IT STILL WORKS, AND IT’S THE SAME ONE THAT RUNS DBD JUST FINE. I don’t have $600 or more to drop on a brand new console (“$600 is barely anything!” For me $600 is more than my food budget for a month. I only own the console I do because someone gave it to me and I’ve been taking very careful care of it.) so I can’t play with my friends? Really? But dbd, a game I’ve been playing for years with crossplay on the same console is able to play with PC and other players? It’s their game, they made the decision to do this to “optimize” the game, but it’s a decision that has turned me away from the game. I hate when I see games and companies do this to perfectly good consoles.
While I understand your frustration as someone who also plays on last gen, the fact we were even allowed to play is a small miracle. More importantly, current gen is the focus since last gen was a last minute change.
@@graduatedpinksnowball668 I understand that and even put at the end of my comment “It’s their game and their decision” but it doesn’t change my frustration and anger. I’m supposed to praise them for including last gen when they limit the pool of players so significantly old dbd lobbies look like the Indie 500 in comparison? No. I’m spending longer waiting than actually playing the game. You can say what you want, this has still ruined the game for me.
@@Fluflebuny Where does getting angry get you if it changes nothing, then? Use that anger on a workout, a punching bag or put it through a mental furnace of strong to use it on something worthwhile than act like the world owes you something.
@@graduatedpinksnowball668 I have no idea where you got all that from but insulting my mental fortitude and calling me entitled because of my opinion is not very telling of someone who knows how to argue. I never said it was owed to me I said I was frustrated that this decision they made, with their game, which is 100% up to them regardless of my opinion. And my opinion still is, it ruins the game for me and I simply won’t play.
I really enjoy this game but I can't get a full lobby while playing with my friends. I probably have a 20% chance to start a game when trying to find one.
I'm very optimistic about this game. It looks fun! I'm optimistic to the point I would like to see a collab between DbD and TCM. How cool would it be to have the Trapper here in TCM??? :O
tbh is not that dbd is better but with every license killer they add the texas chain massacre game will slowly die unless they add new stuff like killers but because its based on a movie i don't think they will so either new survivor or maps maybe cosmetics but in reality dbd with its licensed killers will always be a little bit more popular and with time the texas chain massacre game will end like friday the 13th or maybe not who knows but that just my opinion.
A game on release will be inherently less competitive, People hid on dbd for so long, It will be interesting to see how the game plays when the casuals move on.
Evil dead is still alive with it's small player base and TCM is definitely more fun than that so it will have longevity until the devs choose to close servers. Will it kill dbd? No, that really is a dumb question no matter what it is compared to. Take pubg and fortnite. Alot people said fortnite would kill pubg but it still has it playerbase just like warzone. I definitely think most of killer players will play this more than dbd but still play dbd. And some survivors who get sick of soloq and killers will play this more often. This is definitely the horror party game we been waiting on since ft13 and it's a masterpiece. Dbd definitely will lose some monthly players.
Nah, I’ve had so much time on dbd. This game is such a great change of pace. I’m tired of being forced to sweat nearly every game to get out. And with the Meta I hate facing the same 4 killers. This game is so much more casual and a great change of pace and I love it However, I will admit though. This sissy bug is starting to piss me off a little 😭
As fun as the game is, it's too niche. What makes DBD work and live so well in a niche market is the variety. Different aesthetics, different mechanics, different themes. It'll be fun for awhile but will die off to just a small hardcore after a short period of time just like Friday the 13th. At the moment people will be hyping it up because it's new, but that will not last more than a few weeks imo
TCM will not kill DBD because dbd can’t be killed, dbd is coke and TCM is pepsi, people might like pepsi more on blind tastes, but as soon as the blindfold comes off people still chose the original
The one thing i hate is that Bubba needs to be there to start the game.(But that rule goes out the qindow if they dc) Me and my duo just tryna play other family members and the random is also. So the timer just keeps resetting unless somebody gives in.

(: This game needs some work and love obviously cause you know, It just came out. And I’m sure it’ll turn out to be an alright-fun game. Off of the 3 videos I’ve seen (4 now) it looks like it’s…odd. Like killing seems easy, escaping can be hard, and all of the skinny side of the murder family have the exact same “Arm up” motion. (Except the cook) That’s just what I think though. Enjoy what you enjoy. (: You like DBD? Cool. You like TCM? Cool. Have fun with either or. (:
I love DbD and always will, but god it sucks that it feels like any small mistake or doing something the other side doesn't like is going to get you publicly executed
Yeah Ik it's a nice breath of fresh air and this is coming from someone who plays dbd a lot I have almost 2,000 hours in it and Ive gotten so many toxic messages while playing
All it needs is a ping system to communicate without a mic and it's honestly golden. I've already had a couple of dummies screaming at me for not having my mic on when I'm just trying to chill so implementing something to shut them up before they get to loud would be a huge w.
@@GodsDissapointment I agree. Teamwork is important, but the game is casual and sometimes you just wanna tune out and enjoy the atmosphere even as a Family member, without some guy on comms breaking your immersion.

DBD should make walkie talkies an item that you need to talk to each other.
I'm loving this game so far
Honestly dbd is a good game still but i really hope it makes dbd wanna have native voice chat.
It'll become a shell of its former self as the fanbase devours itself trying to be better than the other
I hope this game thrives because Friday the 13th the game didn't deserve to go out the way it did 😔
Dbd won’t die, but a small chunk of the player base will finally move on to TCSM
The entire DBD community is trying so hard to make this game live because without competition, DBD will die a shameful death.
Dbd died for me with the mmr system it went from fun to no fun every match.
The game isn't aiming to appeal to dead by daylight players, nor competing against it. It's made for the actual fans of texas chainsaw massacre.
The game so far different than dbd but just similar enough to keep me playing it. Such a good addition to the asymmetrical horror genre.
I think TCSM has bigger potential with e-sport than DBD, When we get crazy surv and family teams it will be pleasure to watch
Not everything has to be an E Sport
I got the game for free from my xbox gold pass, definitely worth it
Even if i paid, it’d be worth it. The game feels so much more atmospheric and intense than dbd without the sweat
Left dbd because of the mmr system And many others..
The gas station map where that door where the generator is where Johnny spawns outside. Is that supposed to be a way for survivors can escape? They need to fix that with a lot of Connie players have been abusing it on that map.
The guy who said "Ayo, how you doing my G?" in the most white voice ever 😂😂🤣
I think it’s just better than dbd in every way tbh. From the ground up it was just built different.
" cant rush as hard anymore"
2 minute escape speedruns are already on youtube.. connie is busted.
One of the things I love about this game is it actually feels different than other horror games and it's made by the same people who made Friday the 13th the game, it's so good been playing it a lot
I enjoy it as someone who moved from f13 to dbd
if you pay attention to the little news reports at the start of the match they are leaving the game a little open ended to have a supernatural element in it. so that provided we COULD see an element of that brought over and see people brought over by "the lights" into whatever universe this is.
Are you kidding me texax chainsaw massacre so much funnnn❤❤❤
I said the game’s aren’t comparable meaning the gameplay is quite different and it’s difficult to tell how it will end up, and finally, “don’t be pathetic” if you looked at the last line, I said I hope it does well, DBD has needed competition for along time now, they’ve cornered the market and are getting complacent because they know no matter what they do they can get away with it, even if it pisses of the community, very similar to bungie and destiny 2 in that way, if you just put that much snarky bs in every comment than I just feel bad for you.
they like to t-bag and wait in the exit gate here too i will tell you that
Texas Chainsaw Massacre = Limited Lore (more likely to be repetitive)
DBD = Unlimited Lore in order to add new survivors, killers and perks.
Lore isn’t important if your game is shit tbh
Normally Im big into Lore but I couldnt care less about DbDs because its sooo unrelevant there
We'll see how people treat the game a few months from now, after the first major events likely at Halloween and Christmas.
Maybe then, the Honeymoon Effect will have waned a bit and the more degenerate strats will start emerging because, well, competition. (bully squads, unstoppable killer combos, etc)
But for now, the game is damned fresh and a MASSIVE improvement over Dead By Daylight. If it remains a strong contender long term will depend on future content and how far the developers are willing to push the concept of the game.
I’ve enjoyed this game way more than DBD, I still love DBD but I think Texas chainsaw is more fun even as a victim it’s more fun than survivor in DBD.
I agree with the guy that said dbd is too competitive. I only ever wanted a chill game to play but people optimize the fun out of everything
personally it looks pretty meh and repetitive. the reason i prefer dbd over this is that while dbd can also be repetitive, it still has a bunch more killers to it, you can have tons of different perk combos to spice up the game etc etc.
This is not meant to be a walk in the park for either side. It’s a team game. Finding survivors is supposed to be hard
You could play Cook?
Its been a while since I've seen a game in its beta and been like "Ima get that as soon as it releases"
Wait it's in the PS+ ??
Thanks for this video coco love you
Biggest difference is that DbD doesn't make stealth gameplay very effective against any killer.
Having to wait 3 minutes before it readys everyone up is horrendous too
Most new games aren't even compatible with the last gen anymore, your friends have to upgrade or something.
Is there only the one map?
The game seems cool, but the single biggest drawback for me, personally, is the voice chat.
I was incredibly excited for Evil Dead: The Game, but voice chat and all the wretched and insulting things people would say over there, match after match killed any enthusiasm I had for the game despite my love for that franchise.
I predict that same sort of toxicity will sprout up in TCM's lobbies in short order. People can act pretty repellent when they have a platform and anonymity.
Old gen doesn't get cross play sadly so that definitely can make que times worse
At first.. I was getting irritated easily.. but then I was having a blast! BUT.. how long will this excitement last?? I was loving Friday the 13th for like 2 months. Then I basically hated the game. I hope I continue to love TCM!
tf 2 was updated 2 days ago dude
First of all, it was a discussion about the game, not what’s going on in my life and how I take care of it. I never said it was owed to me I said I was frustrated that this decision they made, with their game, which is 100% up to them regardless of my opinion. And my opinion still is, it ruins the game for me and I simply won’t play.
@@Fluflebuny Yeah, you're right. I shouldn't make those types of assumptions. Don't know where I got that from either.
I’ll be playing both games and when I get bored of one I’ll switch to the othrr
I really enjoy this game but I can't get a full lobby while playing with my friends. I probably have a 20% chance to start a game when trying to find one.
Imagine bringing ghost face in this game!
i love DBD and TCM, both fun : )
Dbd and tcm aren't against eachother. You can tell wince bubba is still in dbd. They domt want to fight they just want to be games
I'm very optimistic about this game. It looks fun! I'm optimistic to the point I would like to see a collab between DbD and TCM. How cool would it be to have the Trapper here in TCM??? :O
True imagine bubba would come to dbd that would be dope
Bad idea. It should be seperated. A don't know what your on.. 😂 But this riun games. That are good in itself.
I love playing both games, but i prefer TCSM, just because i don't get a message after every match saying how big of a piece of shit i am
I mean saying DbD is toxic and then saying there's no voice chat is self sabotage tbh, voice chat would just get the game even more toxic
tbh is not that dbd is better but with every license killer they add the texas chain massacre game will slowly die unless they add new stuff like killers but because its based on a movie i don't think they will so either new survivor or maps maybe cosmetics but in reality dbd with its licensed killers will always be a little bit more popular and with time the texas chain massacre game will end like friday the 13th or maybe not who knows but that just my opinion.
You know 2 of the 5 Killers arent from any movie right?
A game on release will be inherently less competitive, People hid on dbd for so long, It will be interesting to see how the game plays when the casuals move on.
The game won’t kill DBD. But the game is alright, but I’ll say this is a good side game for the DBD mains
I definitely want to try it, but I’m broke af rn I’ll wait for the game to be discounted haha
This game is fun. I keep trying to go back to dbd but it always makes me miserable 5 minutes in
I'm loving TCM, but it's not fair to compare they feel so incredibly different
it reminds me of on release friday i just hope it lasts
This game is so much more casual and a great change of pace and I love it
However, I will admit though.
And honestly the game needs some time to COOK before we can really assess how it compares since DBD has had allot of phases it’s been through 🤠
"dbd killer" im dead asf
The one thing i hate is that Bubba needs to be there to start the game.(But that rule goes out the qindow if they dc) Me and my duo just tryna play other family members and the random is also. So the timer just keeps resetting unless somebody gives in.
Us toxic gamers need a place in the community too!
I been playing for hours and I can say I have never had this much fun on both sides in dbd.the game looks amazing.there really isn't any camping on both sides because its three on 4.its just fun.toxic players are in everygame not jus dbd,its life.but I can see this game being big if they keep up the updates.maoe new characters in lore.maybe a female chainsaw killer.
I play DBD a bit. Never tried this game so I don’t get a say.
DBD is a bit annoying at first, you get lost, your not super great at tracking, and your facing above average killers/survivors when your in ash tier (ash is the lowest tier) but I still have fun cause I like it. (:
This game needs some work and love obviously cause you know, It just came out. And I’m sure it’ll turn out to be an alright-fun game. Off of the 3 videos I’ve seen (4 now) it looks like it’s…odd. Like killing seems easy, escaping can be hard, and all of the skinny side of the murder family have the exact same “Arm up” motion. (Except the cook)
That’s just what I think though.
Enjoy what you enjoy. (:
You like DBD? Cool. You like TCM? Cool. Have fun with either or. (:
Dbd won't die because it has every license under the sun. Dbd is literally the only successful asymmetrical game.
7:54 man was going through it apparently😂
The community for this game seems so pleasant. Like F13 where most people are just there to have fun in a game.
Thank god. I'm tired of getting yelled at for just playing the game like the DBD community loves doing.
I’m loving this game so far. There’s actually a surprising amount of Depth in the game.
It looks so good!! I love that it's so different and unique :D
Same I liked it more then I thought I would. Reminds me of FT13th. It just has less survivors & more killers. Hopefully it does really well. Looking forward to playing Killer Klowns From Outer Space too.
Repetitive and got boring fast.
@@slimypiratex The game just came out. So if you aren’t trolling then it’s a skill issue. Dying every match or not being able to find anyone as killer lmao
@@slimypiratex Well, getting bored after 1 day out is really your problem. Maybe have a break on videogames?
I have enjoyed it so much even in the first day. But i dont think dbd is going anywhere soon. Thats just the truth
I'll probably not be playing dbd again for awhile.
Well I don’t think they can compete with DBD anyways. DBD has way more content. I don’t think Texas game will ever beat them tbh. Especially if they can’t continue adding new stuff to the game. Friday The 13th game was like the closest competitor imo. Until that lawsuit happened.

well you're in your honeymoon faze the game just dropped this is gonna be the funnest, funnist time u have with the game. I remember when i first played dbd i was 16 and I got it literally the second day after release, only because we were all hyped for f13 and dbd snuck in and captured us.
@@gregoryjones7712 I think the difference is how broken a lot of things are in TCM. That aspect in itself makes it chaotic and fun to play. Whereas in DbD they make a bunch of useless perks and only a set few are decent.
I do think a lot of this is all "honeymoon phase" people like new and fresh but like anything new it dies off. Now will that happen with TCM? I hope it doesn't but I think it's unfair to ask people how they feel right now. It would be like asking dbd players how they felt about the game week one of the game back in 2016.
It really wouldn't though because alot of people hated Dbd back than as well. Dbd has a community of players that hate the game they play.
@@donalddean2037I don't remember many people hating on the game when it was new
@@donalddean2037 I'd say most people hate it cause they do stupid things and blame other teammates and killers i mean it's no chance this game could last long it doesn't really have that much in it but we'll see i guess still feel like not even worth trying if you already playing dbd it's just something for streamers to play abit to get some extra views and for the people that suck on dbd a chance maybe to play better on texas.
Sunk 5 hours into it now and its great, lots to do and explore the perk variety and different characters, unique powers. Couldnt care less about voice chat with random strangers though🤣
Yeah I turned that off immediately lol. Other people be distracting & make to much noise. Drawing the killer’s attention. Like no please die somewhere away from me lol
so just like dbd when i first played it was overwhelming with perks and characters nice
The games are different enough to coexist fine, but being able to play killer with friends is a massive plus, its a lot of fun hunting with 2 buddies on comms
