1st case: the girlfriend is messyyyyyyy.
I work in the medical field as well. And when my exes sister was on my assignment, I went to my charge nurse and asked for a reassignment, especially since she and I didnt really get along.
She's so messy and I think her attitude sucks.
That is what I was thinking like she wanted to be nosey she prolly look in the girls chart.. She could of been reassigned

I was thinking the same thing. In most fields where employees of an organization provide services like that to patients or clients, employees are allowed to be removed from an assignment and/or reassigned if there is a potential conflict of interest or personal controversy/bad history between the worker and client. In fact, that would be a legally wise thing to do to avoid liability....Because if something goes wrong with the medical procedure, and the patient sues the hospital, the patient could easily claim that the employee did something to botch the procedure or withheld proper treatment due to a personal vendetta. To avoid that potential for drama or liability, it's best to request a reassignment from the person in charge of scheduling the the work assignments.
Thank you. That was very unprofessional of her. Even if she did not know that child's name - which I do not believe for a second, when she saw her, she should have IMMEDIATELY informed her charge nurse. That was a clear conflict and violation of confidentiality and patient's rights. You know doggone well she violated HIPPA, too. I would not want my ex lover's gf providing my care even if we are cool, let alone when it is clear to Ray Charles she hates that girl.
I did the same thing. My husband's ex was a nurse and I asked for her NOT to have anything to do with me

That fella thought that the baby would make the marriage work and that he would be able to go home with his wife to get away from his mother. Now he has no baby, no freedom, and his mother is still all over him. He has even less control now.

I feel really sorry for him, he seems to be a sweetheart, but he was there, and let it happen. He let that boyfriend move in??? The other woman had no right to go in the roon during any procedure. If she was assigned this patient it was her responsibility to tell the charge nurse that there was a conflict or situation that prevented her from caring for this patient. The patient was placed in a very compromised position. I dont know what her staff position was but I do know that the hospital and the other woman were liable. There were so many things that could have been done to compromise the patient life. As an RN this makes me angry, this woman should have her license under investigation. The patient should sue( most states require liability insurance).

The man's girlfriend needs to KEEP HER BIG MOUTH SHUT once she makes testimony. Judge Laren should've made her sit down at that point. Obviously, she thinks she's cute and stating that they have their own family is IGNORANT because he has NOT married her. Why buy that COW??? Also, I am a former Hospital Administrator and a former Hospital Recruiter & Labor Relations Professional who had the authority to hire, fire and discipline staff. It was UNPROFESSIONAL & INAPPROPRIATE for this man's girlfriend to be anywhere near the patient (who may have had a baby by her boyfriend). All she had to do was inform her supervisor of the situation and she would've been reassigned. Her failure to do so shows she had ill intent. Her very presence being near or in that medical procedure was unprofessional. I would've reported her and made sure she was disciplined from a written reprimand up to and including termination!!!

That last episode… that woman is pure work! I thought the mom was over bearing & which she was to an extent but his wife knew she had a good man & she took advantage of that. Even when the results were read all she could say was “that’s okay” because she knew the husband would still take care of the child. I truly hope he divorced her & moved on with his life because he didn’t deserve any of that!
I agree with you. That man has psychological issues because those women are so domineering. Clearly, he does not have good conception of appropriate boundaries and appropriate behavior. I think he would be much better off getting some serious counseling and moving away from both of them for a long time. If he chose to stay in that mess, I’m sure it’s not healthy for anyone and that even more counseling will be necessary- but I predict they will all suffer anyway. But he probably did because he loved the baby. He should have left his wife when she ran off with her boyfriend.
She had no humility. She didn't ask him for forgiveness, she didn't say she was sorry or anything. She just said, "that's OK!!" It's not OK and he should divorce her because it's in her and she very well will do it again. As for his mother, there's nothing wrong with a mother standing by her son to support him.. However, that's all she should have been there for, moral support.. Let them work out the details and keep your mouth shut.

Case 1: I could've appreciated it more if the plaintiff stated from the beginning that there was a possibility that the defendant could be the father. She knew she slept with someone else. As for the girlfriend, I wouldn't have even showed up to court. What "my man" did before me, is none of my business. ESPECIALLY if he's not my husband. I have nothing to do with what they got going on. Even if me and my man have kids together...

Stand by your man (if for nothing else) for compassionate moral support for better or for worse. I would think, if his Paternity in this matter had been proven, she'd want firsthand knowledge of why her man ain't bringing home as big a paycheck as she had gotten comfortable with/used to.
No matter about the outcome the defendant had no business accepting the plaintiff as her patient. There's a conflict of interest and it's always advisable to not get involved at that level professionally. At the end it may cost you your license, your job, ultimately your lifestyle.

That 3rd case....whew! That child wasn't his and SHE said "that's his kid no matter what". No sweetie, that's for him to decide and not you. You can't bully someone into being responsible for your child after you've cheated on them and betrayed them...he gave her WAY too many chances and she still got an attitude.

The apology was for tv. She knew there was at least one other guy and at no point admitted to that. She tried to claim him for a reason. We know what it is.

Last case. That guy actually obviously needs his mum to look out for him against that woman! Seems like far too much of a push over. Should actually divorce that horrible woman. I really feel for the guy in the last case. I have a family member who got married, and after 6 years of marriage she started dating someone else secretly who was engaged and already had a child and house with their fiancé. My family member's husband found out and almost killed himself. Fast forward a month and she's still seeing this guy. After the other dude's fiancé found out about the infidelity, she kicked him out of the home and my family member had the absolute audacity to ask her husband if the other dude could come stay with them. The husband ended up leaving because he only wants her to be happy. Fast forward 3 months and my family member is divorced, has or has been (don't talk to her anymore after this ridiculous behavior) broken up with other dude, moved several times, and is now dating someone much older than her. Watch out for your partner's coworkers and "friends you don't have to worry about".
