What if you've qualified ugc jrf under sciences and some problems arises in the documents that you've uploaded at the time of application form filling. Does ugc reaches out to the student asking for documents or they'll just reject the your candidature? Since csir asks for documents after results, isn't this unfair to other ugg jrf students since they are given a chance to redeem their mistake but ugc jrf students not given a chance to send documents?

Fellowship activation is done on the same portal of DBT JRF...everything is online

Once you get JRF award letter you can visit administration of your institution and ask them to initiate your JRF
Does one get stipend during the Pre-PhD coursework or only after the topic of thesis gets approved by the RDC?
You will get stipend from the day you join the institution or the date of certificate whichever is later
