- This is a video in reference to my closest friend and I. It is crazey how much we are just like Rogue and Storm. The Song is an old Celtic tune called "You Raise Me Up." this version is on the Celtic Woman CD. Let me know what you think.

I agree with tohits! The friendship between Rogue and Storm was more interesting than her friendship with Jean in the comics. These two characters are so different, but their mix of powers and personalities just work.

Storm and Rogue are like Sam and Frodo in this show, in my honest opinion… they’re a more interesting friendship than Storm and Jean. I asked the writers of X Men: The Animated Series this: ‘May I ask what made you decide to give Rogue and Storm this kind of friendship’? And they replied: ‘Briefly, it came organically through their interactions as characters - and we all built on that’.
yeah... that's because Storm and Jean were there longer, and the only girls on the team so they were always best friends. Rogue was closer to Wolverine b/c they were the oldest ones and always the last two standing in bad situations...

K Jordan The Rogue in the comics is vastly different from the Rogue in the X Men movies. In the comics Rogue came on as an adult after she discovered her mutant abilities like in the movies kissing her boyfriend. But in the comics this happen way before she joined the X Men. And she also was a bad girl who crossed paths with Mystique who became her foster mother figure and together they did bad things. Rogue was still new to her powers and didn't understand their full effect during a confrontation with Ms Mavel she permanently drain her powers which included super human strength, flight, invulnerability, and an seventh sense that allows her to anticipate danger, and Ms Marvel psyche was trap within Rogue's mind. That's how she gain those abilities in the 90s comics and cartoons. Eventually she left Mystique and joined the X Men team and asked Xavier for help dealing with Ms Marvel psyche trapped within her. I thought I was the only one who noticed what close friends Rogue and Storm were in this tv series. I like it much better than the Storm and Jean friendship that was in the comics anyway.
I wish they showed how Rogue and Storm met and became friends in this series though.

Was Storm and Rogue good friends in the comics cuz I don't remember, I know Storm and Jean were like sisters in the comics.
Not exactly, not at first… Storm was friends with Carol Danvers and Rogue took her powers and Storm didn’t like her. But they were friends, just not like this show.

OMG!!! U have created emotions in this vid that completely tells the true story of Storm & Rogue. They sometimes displayed their friendship in the comics (X-Treme X-Men), but not at the level they have in the original toon. Storm & Rogue r 2 of my top 3 most favorite x-men alongside Gambit.
