Before Yeseul had tapped Jota in sign of forfeit, Jota had already let go of her. He knew something was up when he felt her body not resisting his nurugi. He's always so hyper-aware of the situation and that takes focus. That means he isn't just blindly fighting, aggressive to score points, but is calculating the opponent's moves. And this is what makes him such a great athlete.
she isn't the only judoka girl he faced xD he faced another gold medalist too for 8 minutes. anw, they challenged him. it would have been disrespectful to hold back, girl or not. what i like is that when the referee told him to go for "nurugi" after he slammed her down, he felt her not fighting back and immediately stopped. that means he's always aware and not just fighting aggressively on the matt. he had let his go before she even tapped him to forfeit, it's because he alrdy knew something was up.
I dont know if its connected but at the same time he stopped she gentlely tapped him at the rib cage towards the back, that being not a normal move would also have stopped Jota as well. He is extremely shy and gentle but male or female on the mat he like other judo players are extremely cautious of injury. Its always good to see them so respectful.
just the fact that jota had already let her go before the ref told him to stop, knowing that something was up before she even tapped him. can i marry him
She lost because of a previous injury, not because she's a girl. Geez Some of the comments are one reason why girls will never be seen as equal to men in sports. She is a gold medalist, and if she was at her peak in condition could probably win against jota and many other males
True but most likely she will still lose. Random questions “ pick 300 random female and 300 males”. More males will win and that is a fact 100%. Im not trying to be gender discrimination here.
yea but in this case it wasn't a random female. no matter how good jota is im very sure she wouldve won if she was at her prime because she got professional training and even got a gold medal but
Lol you do know the USA wnba team will lose to a high school team in basketball right? Guys and girls are made differently physically so technically its not possible for girls to be on the same level when it comes to professional sports
He defeated her convincingly. Some women seem to have an axe to grind with men. These " man haters ", want to hurt, humiliate and emasculated men. This girl got her ass deservedly kicked! I used to do judo about 10 years ago. This woman in the club was doing randori against a high school boy who just started. She executed several throws on him, tomoe nage twice and shoulder throw. Each time she threw him she ridiculed him. She went on to break his arm with an arm bar. He was in tears and completely demoralized. After class she was bragging about it and laughing.
A lot of people are miss understanding the female fighter it's not that she couldn't keep fighting but is it worth it to keep fighting and risking injuring herself more, she a pro athlete, this is her career is it worth taking a chance on a game for a tv show, she has more fights comping in the future and if she injures the knee further she might not be able to compete when time comes, I think she made the right move to bow out and it does not make her or Jota less of a fighter
Aw wow. Jota must feel bad but then again she came in challenging Jota even with that injury. It was somewhat foolish on her and her team's fault as well.
But she is to blame. She knew she was injured and went in and challenged a person. She didn't want to get hurt but she was and yet fought anyways. Her fault.
Jota kayak banteng sih 😍😍 ini nih yg ditakuti jota kalo kalo bertarung sama pro competition. Soalnya dia takut ngasik luka yg bakalan ganggu lawannya untuk kompetisi nasional. Hwaiting jota
What I don’t understand is that the women is a professional judo athlete more than that she challenged Jota herself EVEN with the condition of her knee, she knew full on what she was putting herself into and she even claimed to have seen his previous plays. If I (I am a female) went into a match with any player I wouldn’t want them to hold back male or Female, it’s rude against me as it shows you don’t take me seriously. Her being a girl doesn’t give her privilege over how she should be treated by Jota during the match.
for some reason when i go to KBS main page i couldn't find any of full video of any show, last time there are full video of KBS Reality Show with different categories, but now i only found the Highlights 😢😢😢
Try search for cool kiz on the block kbs world tv. Full episodes are there. But dunno why when you try finding it from the kbs world tv page itself it cant be found. Dunno maybe the setting. I dunno but its there some how
Lmao ho dong just keep looking at the Time and waiting to attack at the last second just like in knowing brothers when they played serium with sang min and if sangmin can endure for 10 secs he would win and hodong made a move at 9 secs
did i just say in my comment that she's weak? or any of that emphasizing that shes weak? what im sayin is shes still a girl even she used to do that he must be NOT TOO . your the one who's implying that she's weak Duh . think think
You emphasized the word "girl". Being a girl has nothing to do with her abilities, thus, her gender has nothing to do with the amount of strength Jota should or should not have used on her. "She's still a girl..." okay, and? Are you implying that just because she is a woman, she is not as strong as the man who plays the same sport? You're just restated your sexist ideas in different words. Duh? Think, think.
you know if you misunderstand it I don't care, what are you fighting for? if that's your'e opinion okay. im just stating my opinion, have a life please, gomawo. ha ha

Wow Jota! I’m still cheering for you! Hoping for more success coming your way! Fighting!!
i love jota's sportsmanship dude
if it wasnt for his injury im sure hed be there along with the professionals
I like the fact that jota played fairly and didn’t treat her differently because she is a girl !
she isn't the only judoka girl he faced xD he faced another gold medalist too for 8 minutes. anw, they challenged him. it would have been disrespectful to hold back, girl or not. what i like is that when the referee told him to go for "nurugi" after he slammed her down, he felt her not fighting back and immediately stopped. that means he's always aware and not just fighting aggressively on the matt. he had let his go before she even tapped him to forfeit, it's because he alrdy knew something was up.

♡ Jota ah~ do not feel sorry so much!!!
p.s. Yeseul pretty lovely even without makeup ^^!
just the fact that jota had already let her go before the ref told him to stop, knowing that something was up before she even tapped him. can i marry him

Kang Hodong is great too! "He's like a streetlamp! He can't be moved!" "Sweeping him is like sweeping a telephone pole" LOL
I feel sorry for the female competetor but I must say Jota was a complete gentleman the entire time... what happened was unfortunate...
Aw wow. Jota must feel bad but then again she came in challenging Jota even with that injury. It was somewhat foolish on her and her team's fault as well.
Yap,when it comes to fight, jota have no mercy, she challenge him so why not,,,,,
fordfocusonme i like that he gives his all. in sports no one gives advantages and everyone goes all in no matter wat state they are in
why blame her because of an injury she doesn't even want? tsk be nice
But she is to blame. She knew she was injured and went in and challenged a person. She didn't want to get hurt but she was and yet fought anyways. Her fault.

He really can, i mean he played Judo for 8years that's given 😁
Jota kayak banteng sih 😍😍 ini nih yg ditakuti jota kalo kalo bertarung sama pro competition. Soalnya dia takut ngasik luka yg bakalan ganggu lawannya untuk kompetisi nasional. Hwaiting jota
JOTA is a good job..nice

Jota went too hard on her.
jota is carried away to the situation to think about it.. she is a GIRL .dont be too hard jota
Um, what does being a girl have anything to do with going easy on anyone?
Ayette Lee so you're implying that just because she's a girl, she's weak?Talk about equality 🙄
