Nice video Jordan as usual. I loved the background music you were using! While certainly a different vibe from the old Barbary Coast I was disappointed to see the condition of the room especially at the price point advertised. I spent most of my past Las Vegas time staying at Caesars Palace and would venture into the Barbary Coast just to look around. Friends have told me the rooms were in poor condition at that time as well. Thank you for your hard work and excellent videos. I would like to try the Veal Chop at Giada's as well!

Hey Sir Jordan ….I’ve only been in the Cromwell once and don’t really have any desire to go back . The rooms remind me of a French bordello lol . The public spaces and casino are nicer than the LinQ or Flamingo but there’s just no vibe or atmosphere and not much to do . I’m not a big Caesars property fan anyway . Spot on review as always 😎😎😎

We have stayed here 3 times in last 2 years (Each time Strip view side). Agree about the noise, but it hasnt really bothered us that much except if we kept the bathroom window open. Overall, our stays have been great. Love that you need the room key to use the elevators, and the halls are usually super quiet. Casino gaming is fun and if Im going to play blackjack on the Strip, Cromwell is where I play. Its a vibe, and we enjoy it. Edit: One other thing we love about Cromwell is the garage seems the easiest to get in and out of since its right there on Flamingo.

I used to stay there all the time back when it was the Barbary Coast and then Bill's Gamblin' Hall. It was great! $50 a night and no resort fee. The decor in those days was kind of similar to now, but was less French and more "Victorian-era San Francisco" style. The biggest difference in the room is that the bathrooms used to be really tiny and old! The bathtub/shower used to have a little narrow window that you could hand-crank to open and get a little fresh air! haha The casino looked similar to now but was a little less fancy. However, back then they had 2 big advantages they don't have now - a good steakhouse with $9.99 rib-eyes and Big Elvis performing in the lounge. Fun times!

I like the Cromwell's casino, but its hard to be a luxury hotel with next to nothing to offer. If this property ever starts to fail, it would be great to see it become a "grinder's" joint again. With casino royale dumping all their table games, and potentially going away altogether, the center strip needs a place like that.

I adored walking into Cromwell pre-merger (around 2018, 2019) and hanging out in the Interlude Lounge. They had those great drink specials (like $2 basic cocktails) and live entertainment. Last I checked, they never brought any of that back after the lockdown (at which point the merger took place). You can sit in there, as shown, but that's about it.
I have only stayed there twice, both times post-merger. The first time in 2021, I loved my room. The second time, a bit over a year later, the room and the resort as a whole looked a lot more rundown. It was a shame. I think the aging process got sped up post-pandemic when they were lowering the rates to bring people back. Attracted a rowdier crowd. Plus they probably started skimping on maintenance.
I loved Giada's both times I went (once for brunch, once for dinner). Glad to see it is still great.
Cromwell used to have some good deals on table games, but it was mostly electronic games last I was there. Nothing but triple-zero roulette? Damn.

I was at the Cromwell in 1990, when Vegas was not very family friendly yet... The club in the basement is where the McDonald's used to be you would go down some steps from the boulevard and there was McDonald's. They also did and I can't remember it was 75 cents or dollar Long Island iced teas. Lots of lights lots of fun and Vegas was extra seedy... And the mirage had started the slow change.

If you liked the casino, you're probably the only one. The casino is a ghost town most days or nights. Whomever the GM of this property is, they should be re-assigned, they absolutely do not know how to draw customers into the property at all. An embarrassment is the only way to describe this place.

I recall staying here in 2011--I think it was called "Buffalo Bills" then. What I didn't like was the perpetual darkness of the room. I couldn't wait to check-out and though it was refreshed since, it did and still does cast off prison vibes, albeit a little bit more comfortable and stylish than a typical cell. And no, lol, I am not speaking from the point-of-view as a former inmate but from a job that I once had where on-site visits to correctional institutions were required:)

Cromwell, much like NYNY, feels like it tries too hard to be what it portray itself as. Not that it’s bad or inferior or something like that, but as you said, the value isn’t there. At least NYNY isn’t as expensive but this feels like a google search of “boutique hotel”: odd colored decor, mirrors at an angle, accoutrements that look half old half like it came from a hipster flea market. I do like the somewhat restrained decor of the casino areas, tasteful but not too much flash. The rooms, awful and if the designers think that this is what a Parisian apartment looks like then they got too much inspiration from Moulin Rouge and a bit of HGTV thrown in for fun. AWFUL! I don't know too much about gaming but triple zero? Seriously the Nevada gaming commission allows that? Fine, why not make it 32 zero or however many slots there are on a roulette wheel. Hopefully, those large shrimp for your dinner were wild caught but suspect farm raised in Vietnam, Thailand or China. All of those places farm raise the shrimp in essentially sewage water and feed them literally "poop". Don't believe it, a big of Googling around will confirm that. Yes, Poop pellets. I think that it is 40% poop and the rest some cheap grains or other cheap ingredients. We eat what the fish eat.
