i dont know, I have a baby with my boyfriend and if I bought a house, I would call it our house… when you decide to build a family you have to also learn to be selfless, you’re not one anymore you’re a team. Imagine a dad buying a home, he has a stay at home partner with a baby and always referring to the home as “His” house?. Also if benny had bought a house and kept emphasizing it was “ HIS” house, i feel like thing’s would be much different and he would be getting so much hate.

@@jessicam522 i don’t know anything about their personal life.. have you thought that maybe he didn’t want to buy a house because he hasn’t reached the financial goals he wants before beings able to invest in a home? Buying a home isn’t something you think about one day and do the day after. From a viewer perspective that seems super impulsive, you have to take so many things into account and definitely take your family into account if you have one. My partner really wants to buy a home and although i would love a house i think we need to be a little more financially stable and focus on finishing our degree’s right now and he has respected that because thats how a partnership should work. I would feel extremely unheard if be disregarded everything i said and bought a house without even taking me into consideration . but you would think “he stepped up”?

Plus, yes it’s all well and good to want to invest in real estate but you always wanna make sure you’re willing to learn everything about how it works like property management skills, knowing which properties to invest in, etc… I think that’s why Benny is waiting, to you he’s a “child” but who is he racing with ? Remember whatever you choose the flooring fixtures make sure it’s not seasonal. Grey came and went I’d stick to naturals. That way when you move out you can leave as is and whoever rents can fit their theme in decor.
I would get an interior designer to help you. Also 20k for flooring is a lot. So make sure you look for someone that doesn’t put a hole in your pocket bc they think you are a money well. I’m redoing my home have a great contact if you would like their info.
