No, Marathas had many blunders before the battle, Sadashiv Rao's brother was supposed to reinforce him but didn't go because of his wedding, the Jat King advised the Marathas to not go in an open face to face battle as Afghanis had greater numbers and the Marathas were far better in guerrilla warfare than traditional warfare, there were internal struggles in the maratha Empire with the leadership, etc.

As far as my knowledge, every damn kingdom wanted to attack Indian subcontinent (Hindustan as the videographer was referring), even Changez Khan also thought, as it was a land flourishing with money, gold and what not. So Muslim fought with muslim only for India, to take control of Indian subcontinent and became rich and powerful. But muslims fought non-Muslims, as they were told to through their religius texts.

Abdali & ghazni did't rule India.Mughals were from mongol ancestory whom Maratha defeated. After decades Mughals asked help to Marathas against abdali.That's why panipat happened.

The numbers on Abdalis side are more or less accurate that is 60000 plus 20000 reserves. Marathas were 45000 soldiers with no reserves but about one lakh non combatants who majorly go killed

You said 3.5 lakh Marathas, but you didn't tell out of 3.5 lakh only 40 thousand were army, rest were devotees who came to visit north Indian pilgrimage site with Marathas army. And you are saying mutthi bhar musalman,how if Afghans were 60k and Marathas were 40 k.
