- Jeremy Siegel, Wharton School of Business professor, joins CNBC's 'Squawk on the Street' to discuss where he expects markets to go through the end of the year, whether stocks are more attractive than bonds, and more.
In these uncertain times, it's more important than ever to have a solid understanding of how to manage your finances, invest wisely and navigate economic downturns. But my primary concern is how to grow my reserve of $240k which has been sitting duck since forever with zero to no gains, sure I'm all in on the long term game, but with my savings are lying waste to inflation and my portfolio losing gains everyday, I need a remedy.
If you need advice, consider speaking with a financial advisor. Don't get me wrong, you can do it on your own, but financial advisors have a lot more knowledge and expertise in this area.
You are completely right, Advisors have information and paths that are not disclosed to the public.. I profited £560k in 2022 under the tutelage of my Fiduciary-counselor. Am I selling? Absolutely not.. I am going to sit back and observe how this all plays out.
That's impressive! I could really use the expertise of this manager for my dwindling portfolio. Who’s the professional guiding you?
Rebecca Lynne buie is the licensed coach I use. Just research the name. You'd find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
She appears to be well-educated and well-read. I ran an online search on her name and came across her website; thank you for sharing.
I see the rising interest rate as a very big problem, as more investors will definitely pull out more money from the Stock market. This might have worked when I was still invest-ing with a couple thousand dollars, but it is more difficult now to decide whether to pull out more than $365k from my port-folio. I know some inves-tors still make that despite the strong bear market. In wish I could pull that feat
I think the whole thing about holding stocks for long term will always apply. So I think you should get a quality broker who is able to analyze and pick stocks that will do well in the long term, else you will be in a long bear ride.
You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a broker, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 9%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an analyst.
This sound interesting. I’m not really one to use pro analysts, but I guess it would not hurt to try one. My portfolio is in the red waters right now
There are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Aileen Gertrude Tippy’’ for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
Thanks a lot for this suggestion. I needed this myself, I looked her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.
Just sold a property in Texas and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $200k gains with months, I'm really just confused at this point.
Yes, a good number of folks are raking in huge 6 figure gains in this downtrend, but such strategies are mostly successfully executed by folks with in depth market knowledge
true, despite having no prior investing knowledge, I started investing before the pandemic and pulled in a profit of approximately 950k that same year. In reality, all I was doing was getting professional advice.
That's a great tip. I'm setting out 50k to invest in the market this year. Any particularly useful tips you could offer to me?
*''TRUDY ELIZABETH STOUFFER’'* a highly respected figure in her field. I suggest delving deeper into her credentials, as she possesses extensive experience and serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking guidance in navigating the financial market
Thank you for the lead. I searched her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.
Last month Jeremy said they needed to lower the rate a full point!
Exactly. And an emergency meeting.
Why does Jeremey Siegel seem like a text-book villain in both his appearance and reality?
He should put flowers on his desk.
@@Patrick-yh5ydMaybe he should retire from the world. He and his generation will be forever remembered as the generation which ended the American century.
Only to someone weird. Attacking his appearance, geez
Total opposite of Tom Lee... lol.
OP is a loon
Go on, prof, keep confirming how astonishingly wrong you have been for the last 4 years now.
How has he been wrong? At least the statistical odds in your favor if you are a bull, and he has been bullish , interest rate predictions have been reasonably spot on from him too
he’s really the only one to be right, other than Tom Lee who thinks bullish 100 percent of the time
He makes it up as he goes along
I think Dr Siegal is,so cool!
Is the stock market actually getting better or is this the Election time manipulation to entice new investors, I'm currently sitting on an inheritance of 280k and i'm wondering do I invest in stocks or Gold?
buy bitcoin! it is decentralized and most secure, thus healthy competition among many miner
market crash is inevitable, but there are actually strategies to mitigate risk and profit consistently, tho such executions are usually carried out by investment experts
Agreed, people often underestimate the role of financial advisors. Over 50 years of data reveal that those who work with advisors typically earn more than those who do it alone. I've been fortunate to work with one for 5 years now, resulting in a million portfolio.
i'm blown away! mind sharing more info please? i am a young adult living in Miami where i've encountered several millionaires, and my goal is to become one as well
Her name is.SHARON CRUMP CLINE . Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
I just curiously searched her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon. Thank you
80% stocks 20% cash. I plan to take advantage of the s&p 500 as leading indicators predict above 10% rise by this year, my only issue is how to properly allocate a 6-figure stock/bond portfolio for substantial gains at minimum risk of inflation.
I believe that diversifying your investments is the safest way to handle it. One way to lessen the effects of a market crisis is to distribute investments over a variety of asset classes, such as international equities, bonds, and real estate. It's also critical to look for expert advice.
Certain Mag 7 companies are rumoured to be overvalued and might cause a market correction, I’d suggest you go with a managed portfolio, but even those don’t perform so well, so it’s best you reach out to a proper fiduciary to guide you, that’s what works for my spouse and I. We've made over 80% capital growth minus dividends.
I fired mine 12 yrs ago. now I am beginning to see the benefits, how do I get one? Considering your point I won’t want to get into a bubble. Can you recommend any?
Sure, the likes of the popular "Melissa Elise Robinson does a good job. Just look up the name, you’d find details on the web to set up an appointment as she offers free consultations for Veterans like yourself.
Thanks for sharing. I curiously searched for her full name and her website popped up immediately. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her.
He's always wrong, stick with teaching.
Purchasing a stock may seem straightforward, but selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. I've been working on expanding my $210K portfolio for a while, and my primary obstacle is the lack of clear entry and exit strategies. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated
Even with the right strategies and appropriate assets, investment returns can differ among investors. Recognizing the vital role of experience in investment success is crucial. Personally, I understood this significance and sought guidance from a market analyst, significantly growing my account to nearly a million. Strategically withdrawing profits just before the market correction, I'm now seizing buying opportunities once again.
This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.
impressive gains! how can I get your advlsor please, if you dont mind me asking? I could really use a help as of now
Certainly, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Eleanor Bonnici Deskin’’ for about two years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
Thank you. I just checked her out on the web browser, She seems really proficient. I'll follow up with an email. Thanks for the lead.
For those that traded NFP with Juliane Iwersen Niemann. Y'all can testify to the fact that the news is always an added advantage to our portfolio. I believe the wisest decision that should be on every individual list is to invest in a different stream of income and don't depend on the government to bring you money
The thing is people often doubt the prospects of financial advisors like Julianne Iwersen Niemann in business/markets today.
Well it gives me more time to get ahead while they stew in their own pity and doubts as they childishly complain about those spreading the word
I’ve heard of her
How can i reach her, if you don't mind me asking?
her name is 'JULIANNE IWERSEN NIEMANN'. Just research the name. You'd find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
Thanks for sharing. I searched her full name and found her website instantly. After reviewing her credentials and conducting due diligence, I reached out to her.
Nothing will help home sales. Prices to high no matter what the interest rate.
"And whatever you give for interest [i.e., advantage] to increase within the wealth of people will not increase with Allāh. But what you give in zakāh, desiring the face [i.e., approval] of Allāh - those are the multipliers."
LOL what is he talking about, 10 year is going backto 5%
-stock market is more psychological than fundamental; SPX PE has gone up at 33, not cheap by the historical norm. also, small cap index hasn't led this bull market; this market has been led by those mega cap stocks; plus market has gone up due to inflation
I think investors should always put their cash to work, especially In 2024, we'll start to see more market diversification. I'm hoping to invest about $350k of my savings in stocks against next year. Hope to make millions in 2025
Since risk is at an all-time high right now, perhaps you should be a little more patient and return when it has decreased. Alternatively, you can consult a trained financial expert for strategy.
Yes true, I have been in touch with a brokerage Advisor. With an initial starting reserve of $80k, my advisor chooses the entry and exit commands for my portfolio, which has grown to approximately $550k.
I’ve been looking to switch to an advisor for a while now. Any help pointing me to who your advisor is?
My CFA NICOLE ANASTASIA PLUMLEE a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further... She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market..
