If I were musk, I would increase the ride per capsule by $10 million per flight. If the federal government complains, I would say I would have to raise money for that stupid FAA fine you imposed.

NASA awarded SpaceX $843 millions to deorbit the ISS in 2030. There's no practical reasons why SpaceX would want to renegotiate its ISS taxi contract.

Cancel Boeing. Boeing is going nowhere. SpaceX has the most brilliant man in the world to run the company. Just watch the company performance.

Doesn’t do any good to have a backup company when they can’t get human flight certified. The govt does sole source contracts all the time.
Boeing needs to refund the taxpayer money wasted on StarLeaker. NASA didn’t damage Boeing’s reputation, Boeing did that all on their own.

      Added bonus:
Replace SLS by Star ship : cost reduced by 3 orders of magnitude
The Starship is now launched by SpaceX for the Goverment.
According to the law this means that all licencing is exempted

Boeing lost over $1.5 billions due to delay and cost overrun. It is looking to offload its space division to potential buyers.

As much as I don't want to say this, but Boeing has to come up with a new version, or end the program, or stick to commercial airline flight. I really feel bad for them, but they weren't ready to fly, and rushed the flight. Dragon on the other hand, is unmatched. "if its not broken, don't fix it."
They have to go back to step one, and re-do the whole darn craft.
    Thanks for the episode.

So saddening that a spacecraft such as Boeing could have harmed the ISS astronauts not to mention that Boeing placed astronauts in harm by launching a spacecraft that was designed flawed and Boeing knew of these issues before launch. Boeing incompetence has come to the forefront with miss management and failure. 🛑

Every vehicle that goes into space that is intended to dock with anything else. Should be able to remotely undock in an emergency or otherwise. The Starliner should never of been allowed to dock because they had to rewrite the computer data to disengage from the ISS.

Starliner is a lemon 🍋 we are stuck with.
It should be canceled and Dream Chaser should be used for crewed missions.

The Starliner crew, Suni and Butch have lost at least 1% of their lives while being stuck in space due to Calhoun's hubris and incompetence. How should they be justly compensated for all of the various aspects of their time on this Earth being squandered? Think of what more than one whole entire year of being deprived of your family? That is called irreparable harm and it needs to be compensated for. How much $$$ is enough? It seems incalculable. It is certainly in the many millions of dollars $$$. What say you?

    • @joebanks3698

DOJ is suing SpaceX for not hiring diversity. But they are not suing Boeing. What does that tell you.
