Great fun, as usual. Love the owls and that "dangerous" cat hanging around. Looks quite nice around that area, never stayed that far south near Kruger. Great birding. Rikus will be on the pro tour soon, got a big laugh with the Match Summary graphic.
Thank you Doug! Very ‘dangerous’ cat 😉 he made our chalet his home while we were there 😂 every morning we would wake up with him on our stoep 😋 So different birding in the winter. Lots of different birds. But wow we had SO MANY owls this trip 🤩 You are making Rikus very happy saying that 😂 he might leave the wildlife videos for more golf stuff 😉 Just kidding. If we added all the shots in the vid and not just ‘the good ones’ you would be commenting something very different 🤣😉
The Wood Owl was so special! What you don’t see in the vid is that we went into thick thick bush / forest to actually find him 🙈 We had so many scratches, mosquito bites and stiff necks the next day.. but it was so worth it 🤩🙌🏼
