Because even though self regulating exists, you'll still actually feel emotions when you self regulate and you cant prevent feeling them.

You don’t “regulate” emotions, you regulate your response to them. There’s nothing you can actually do to stop them. Even if she’s mad for five seconds, shit will literally catch on fire.

Oddly enough, I actually do take a medication to dull my emotions a bit because I used to have really extreme emotiobs/ mood swings. So I'm imagining her being on my meds lol (I still have emotions they're just duller than they used to be)
