Terry Moore was not running out of steam, he was loosing money. Rachel Rising had low sales numbers that actually meant the single issues were loosing money. After deciding to cancle the book because of this Terry Moore did 10 more issues to give it as satisfying an ending as possible under the circumstances. But what is good that the story of Rachel continiues in his latest comic Five Years. Great video as always just wanted to put that into context.
I'm thinking about checking out The Sixth Gun by Cullen Bunn next and eventually Harrow County based on ur recc, I think. And finally found Sweet Tooth by Lemire at an affordable price. (Near Mint did the Harrow County vid, my bad)
Yo man, sixth gun has a few mini series during the run, and then a spin off series called shadow roads I think? I'm collecting them too, so thought I'd let you know. :)
@@bertfechner417 the big hardcovers? Yep, they collect all the spinoff side stories, but NOT Shadow roads... Also - again just FYI! - those hardcovers are bigger than absolute editions so make sure you have the shelf space! And there are limited edition slipcase versions called Gunslinger editions you can track down if you really like... :)
Independent comics are more my thing. Dont get me wrong I enjoy some superhero comics but independent comics are more compelling to me. Currently reading the second East of West hardcover.

Thanks for clearing that up!
You NEED to check out Ed Brubakers"Kill or be killed " and Donny Cates' " God Country "they are both just amazing!
I have, both are fantastic. God Country made me cry. Don't worry this is a topic I plan to revisit soon.
Cool! Also good to have you back after that long of a break!
Kill or Be Killed got me back into comics. I loved it.
Lazarus is absolutely incredible! So much detail and so well written
Fuck yeah, I'm loving the frequent uploading! Glad to have you back!

@@iamthomasjudge finish sixth gun first then do shadow roads after?
@@bertfechner417 that's what I'm doing. It's the publication order, so probably the best way to do it.
Really cool of you to say “ladies gents and others”, pretty inclusive!
