Does the current FF across the pond use a TV monitor for the fromt and end games like the current US version yet? In the final season of the second US version (1994-95), they used a computer generated front game board superimposed over the Ferranti-Packer endgame board which is seen by both the studio audience and hoem viewers simultaneously today. Back then the FP edngame board was in play for the fromt game as well. I noticed that a number of times they would show it that way.
Are you referring to Family Feud in America? If you are, then I believe that they use a plasma screen for the survey board. Current host Steve Harvey just finished his second season, and he is hilarious. He has definitely helped with the ratings.
William Shakespeare's play Macbeth is said to be cursed, so actors avoid saying its name when in the theatre (the euphemism "The Scottish Play" is used instead). Actors also avoid even quoting the lines from Macbeth before performances, particularly the Witches' incantations. Outside a theatre and after a performance, the play can be spoken of openly. If an actor speaks the word "Macbeth", or quotes the play, in a theatre other than in performance, they must perform a ritual to remove the curse. The ritual may vary according to local custom: one is to leave the theatre building or at least the room occupied when the name was mentioned, spin around three times, spit, curse, and then knock to be allowed back in

why did they have to call it the Scottish play?
