- Hi guys! We thought we'd take you along on our hike up the Custer Skywalk. This is a fun, short half mile, steep walk up some stairs to a lookout point that overlooks the city of Custer and the surrounding beautiful Black Hills. Part of the trail was closed due to construction when we did this hike, but we have done it before, so we included some photos of the very top at the end of this video. Thanks so much for watching! It WAS chilly. It was really nice during the day but got colder at night. Typical mountain weather. 😆 The stairs were lots of fun and the views were so great at the top. Thanks for watching! I have been to Custer so many time over the years and I didn't even know this was here! I can't believe it. We are definitely going to have to do this little hike the next time we are in Custer. The views of Custer from the top are beautiful. Thanks for the future idea! 😊👍
You're welcome! It's a hidden gem. 💎 If you know where Dakotamart is, it's not far from there. It's in Big Rock Park, off of the main street in Custer. You must do it. It's amazing. ❤ It's kind of tucked into the trees, but not too hard to miss. 😊
