I tee off in 47 minutes. Just watched Dave's excellent hybrid/fairway wood video and I will be using his advice on the course momentarily. I will definitely widen my stance in regards to hybrid and fairway wood play... Thank you, Dave!
Excellent! Thank you. Just recently I have begun to widen my stance beginning with my driver, and have had very promising results. I always tended to fall away from the backswing and get exactly as illustrated here. I’ve been getting the same positive results with my three wood by widening and it naturally steadies my stance. I dreaded the three to the extent that it stayed in the bag, now I’m getting sweet yardage with it. These sessions are great, thanks for posting.
I tried those tips out today with my hybrid and 3 wood. I topped the first hybrid but I felt I wasn’t full committed and was trying too hard. The next 3 wood was probably a career best. Lovely ball flight as well. Same for the hybrid. I actually think this is one lesson that’s done the job for me. Thanks Dave! 👍
Watched the video earlier and went straight to the range and it worked can’t thank Dave enough as I’ve been struggling with a shank for the last 18 months with my woods off the tee and have been using a 4 iron to tee off with. Hopefully with a bit more practice at the range following Dave’s tips I’ll get my driving back 😊👍🏻
Dave excellent video, with everything so clearly explained. I will practice positioning with the rescue club opposite my shirt logo and with the 3 wood opposite my arm pit. I often struggle with the correct position in my stance. Looking forward to next weeks video.

You have done it again. I was very reluctant to use my woods off the fairway as they had a mind of their own and this cost me shots. Simple alignment, ball position with a good steady swing is all it took. Thanks for tip and today tried it. Holy moely! 3 wood straight from the deck 4 times! never in my chuff have I achieved that. I use to hate using my 3 wood till i picked up a Ping 400 model. Life is good now, and i depend on my 3 wood now. Very ez to hit club and I just love it !
Another tremendously simple and easy to understand lesson. Thank you Dave. I will take this to the driving range along with you other lessons and slowly work on them. In four lessons I think I’ve discovered four things that will help my awful golf game. Now if Liam will take these to heart and try them out! 😜🤷♂️🤔
Just went outside and hit 2 f'ways, a hybrid iron and a hybrid widening my stance made a very positive outcome. Will be using this next time out. Very good video and direct easy to understand explanations. Thanks!

I replaced my 3 wood with a 3 hybrid far easier to hit, like you said Dave I found the 3 wood a bit all over the place!! I play it slightly up from centre of stance and play it like an iron balance neutral and weight into left leg! Great video! Wedge play would be a great help for me
Yes, yes, yes. Best tip yet. Got a new 4 hybrid and 3 wood on the way, cannot wait. Both new additions in my bag to cover some gaps, so this tip is perfect timing.

Good information. I love my three wood and hybrids and I hit them well, so well I just added a six hybrid to my bag. When you widen your stance it looked to me like you opened your body up and flared your back foot which is what I do. I try to always remember don’t over swing your club let it do the work.. thanks
Thank you so much. I was on the course today and did exactly what you said with my 3 and 5 wood never topped one shot. I even shared it with my friends. Just a little side note for women: If you don’t have a logo on your blouse or vest line your ball up with your left boob if your a right handed golfer. Good luck out there ladies.
The best thing I saw was how he gripped up to his right hand. Lay the club square, then grip up the right hand, next the left. So that at impact, your arms are neutral and not at tension.
My favourite occurrence in the GM videos is the "boy-ing" sound when Mr B hits a duffer followed closely by Joe cheering in the distance when Mr B hits a good shot. Keep it up Joe!

Also, lose the thought of "killing it". Nothing ruins the fairway shots faster than trying to get more "umph" into it. Dave's the MAN!!!
