Posted this on my instagram but pasting here as well: A new makeup-related video is going up today (this one, that I pre-filmed in San Diego). I just want to note that given my upbringing, educational background & very close ties to the Middle East, for the last week I’ve been in constant talks with friends and family, reading & watching news non-stop (American, Israeli, Arab, and from other parts of the world), and have been very mentally exhausted, upset, and stressed as all of us close to the conflict are. As always when horrible things are going on in the world, it feels hard and bizarre to continue to post regular content, while trying to figure out how to navigate it given the public-nature of my job and my background. Unfortunately all of us in the US & other parts of the world have to continue to go to work and do our jobs while this is happening, as do I. My heart is hurting and I hope you’re able to take care of your mental health during this extremely horrific time.

Prayers to all! I tried the REM foundation as well. I tried it many different ways. With primer, without. I adjusted my moisturizers, and every time it would look dry and cakey. I wound up returning it.

Taylor, I use a sugar scrub on my hands after self tanner!! It works great🎉 to remove the"stain"😁
I do use it 2-3 times to get it all off my palms and between the fingers and never on the top of my hands.Follow with cool water rinse and lotion.
It really works so well and it's gentle enough to use over and over!
Much better than waiting for the " tan" to fade away!

I recently learned this technique for doing my eyebrows called freezing. What you do is wet your eyebrows before apply your brow gel, and then let it dry, and it had my stubborn eyebrows standing up in position all day! ❤️

The Nyx brow gel - u gotta roll it up w a lash wand like when they laminate your brows. Like press ur hairs down and then it stays all day!
Taylor have you tried pressing your brows against your skin? That’s how the clear nyx brow glue works best for me.

I do my own lash “extensions” (like the falscara clusters that go on the underside).. anyway, I’ve tried a ton of different styles and I find that 10-12 maybe 13 millimeters in length are the best so that they give the best of both worlds where you get volume and a little length while still looking pretty natural and not over the top.

For the brow gel, comb it down into the brows, wait about 15 seconds and the brush them up. I have very fine brows and that is the only thing that holds them up.
I just want to send you encouragement and support. I told my husband, "You know, Taylor is experiencing this horrific war through the eyes of people she cares about." I also know what this kind of emotional stress does to someone with chronic health issues, and I have similar health concerns and this kind of stress would definitely put me in bed. So that has been on my mind for you as well.
There is a helplessness that we all feel when something like this happens in another part of the world. One way we can help is through donating to a reputable group who are sending humanitarian aid. Knowing that in a very small way, we are contributing to providing food and shelter to those who have lost everything.
The issue is they are not ALLOWING the aid to come through. Which is illegal even in war. Children are dying of starvation and dehydration and the hospitals are running out of basic supplies 😭 All under the bombing. It’s just horrific

I love super long lashes but I wear glasses and I hate when lashes rub on my lenses lol.
My brow hairs are unruly but I got the brow glue not only does it not hold but it also flakes & it doesn’t dry down all the way. I do NOT get the hype with that. Benefit 24hr brow setter is the only one I can count on but, I haven’t tried a ton more cuz any time I have I wish I’d just gotten that. I WISH I could find a drugstore clear gel that competes.

You should try Haus Labs concealer brush! It’s basically a dupe of the Anisa brush you use, I think Haus copied them actually 😂 and I haven’t tried the Haus foundation brush but it basically looks like a bigger version of the concealer brush. Rare beauty also has the same shape concealer brush but the quality is not very good compared to the other two brands.

I got the rem foundation and couldn’t get it to work. It looked best with a sponge but by the end of the day it was a mess. I ended up returning it because I need something to last me a full work day.
