The pattern of "Auto VIP" can be really pernicious, and in my experience with myself and trying to correct dysfunctional behavior within me, it's often so big I can't see it. I only recently reflected that there were a lot of situations where I experienced social anxiety, only to find out it stemmed from being entitled to be an important person with a particular person or within a particular environment/situation. Something I used to feel sorry about myself over was instead a situation where I'm the last person who should be felt sorry for!
INFPs---please be honest with yourselves with this topic, because if you're not, you can destroy not just your own life but others' lives in the process!!!

However, I am now marrying an ISTP and one way you can help with that behavior is by getting high Ti users in your life that are willing to show you when you are acting entitled and then you being able to handle the feedback. I have an ISTP fiancé like I stated and an ESTP daughter. I had to literally make a conscious decision to accept their feedback, examine it with my Si (which I do through my workouts-quiet moments is my point) and then follow through with behavior changes. It has been a difficult two years of learning, but I have honestly become a better person for it.

As an ENFP I’m now pretty good at recognizing when I’m feeling superior and putting a stop to it, but it was a skill that I had to learn. Those thoughts of superiority literally make me feel high lol but I know that if I let myself give in to the high then there will also be a crash (usually in the form of people treating me like I’m a bad person). I think a lot of ENFPs have an inferiority complex that makes us very susceptible to the temptation of feeling superior and you have to learn to fight that temptation or you won’t be able to maintain relationships, and we all know how important relationships are to ENFPs.

True. I think he’s referring to primary behaviors. While we are all capable of and can do all 4 of those things regardless of personality, a particular type is more likely to lean towards one negative behavior over another from a probability standpoint. He points out our primary negative behavior based off temple but I would be interested to know our secondary, tertiary, and quaternary negative behaviors in terms of personality according to percentage probabilities. You bring up a good point as any type can do all of the above (I’d imagine a really screwed up individual could potentially be master of all forms of abuse).

Also the whole pedo thing is a ridiculous statement to make. Se controls the physical environment and other peoples bodies. Philosophers are all about order and justice. Kinda true. One if the ESTJs I know has a severe case of God complex. She's a teacher in school, which gives her an outlet to abuse power. But she also applies this demeanor to her daily life, which is not always pretty. Self-importance for sure. She could be a good deal of a person to have a friendship with, but personally I don't think it's possible for her and me. I'm an ISTJ btw, I guess what I just did is that I found fault in another person which confirms my own self-importance issues. Well, it is what it is.

Isn't it the same thing as with NFJs, that they have to "get losers out their lives"?
INFPs and ESTJs don't let questionable people into their frame from the start because then they will end up copying their bad behaviours through Ne or Fe and will have to switch the norm, and the corruption of the norm will eventually harm the society.

I can testify from personal experience that Fe doms (or Fe tertiary ETPs) will give you the "don't contact me again until you've sorted your shit out with therapy" or some shit like this.
Personally, as a Delta (NFP just unsure whether INFP or ENFP), I find this kind of treatment to be stupid and even cruel.
But to a Fe person, that's what "you're supposed to do". And from their point of view that's also what they're "supposed to do" to help me become a better person or whatever.
For the Fi, love, relationships, all these matters of the heart, they obey no rules. The heart cannot be put into societal norms and that's why in my life all of my big loves were Gammas and fellow Deltas.
Sure, there was drama often, but the feelings of the Fi person spring from the heart, the good and the bad ones. We can hate each other one day and make love the next one.
Fe needs some commonly accepted criteria to evaluate whether a person is good or acceptable.
As a Te Fi user I only do this with impersonal matters and decisions, aka Te.

That's why male go to war more...
But woman can also fight for their country and their loved ones like Esther in the book of Esther
The woman goes out of her way to contribute, to help, to nurture, sacrifices her life for the care of others life's... and feels self fulfilled by that as well

‘’Everyone is capable of abuse”. Yep.
Loved this…the ending just solidified it all.
I am an INxx (not certain of last two, probably an INF, though first tests stated INTP). I’m basically here because I met an ESFP (guessing, as a newbie to MB) and I totally mistook his ES in a vastly skewed way because of how different we were in those functions. It’s startling, yet so profound- important personal work too, to realize how the different types can have a wrong perception of another because of their own personal bias. We can truly hurt another in it. Even when you don’t want to be personally biased, it’s still there. And because of this, abuse presents.
We hear it’s very important to be self aware, but should it stop there? Should we also out of love become others-aware? (Learn about their type, learn about who they are and why they are the way they are?). Would that mitigate the prevalence of abuse?

For example if I walked away from that ESFP as mentioned above, because I thought they were taking from me, but then realized the nervousness of the situation situated in me caused me to misread the extroversion as threatening, how is it I remedy my ‘’sin’’ (Of abandonment, mainly and of ill-perceived judgement?). And how would the ESFP respond that I would know whatever I might have taken was given back!? Is it hopeless?

In other words if an Infp (or another type) has been sexually abused, it is by far the biggest indicator that person is at risk of being a pedo themselves. When you are rich and famous people come out of the wood work for money. Many people sacrifice their children for money. Innocent until proven guilty is soo important. I can accuse people and because I have an honorable reputation people would believe me, that’s dangerous. Men are ruined every day because people are greedy and spiteful. It’s just as believable that MJ had no childhood and wanted to give children what he didn’t have… there’s really no way of knowing but think of this, if your child was Graped, would you want money or would you want Justice? My mom told me as a child she would want him wiped off the planet if he had touched one of her kids… really think it through. Never believe what you are told, there are many moving parts behind the scenes setting the stage. Look at the ‘believe all women’ nonsense. Look at Johnny Depp, Justice Kavenaugh*, look up all of the men who are accused and cleared after their lives are ruined… I was never a fan of MJ but everyone deserves the truth.

I'm sorry chase but Infp cannot be pedo only. I think correct way is that they're more likely sexually deviant. I've seen some of them especially from western culture, they're quite unhinged with their content but in a form of memes. What you said near the ending about projection, as an Infp I was touched when I was young. That kinda contribute to my nightmares, sleep paralysis, and intrusive thoughts about violations.
It's painful, but have Infj twin. It helps because I never leave her side despite ditching me several times while she called me out and humbled me because I never got to have equally distributed power, with me being bullied by peers. All these when we're teenagers, we had a rough childhood. If I'm being reaallly honest, I feel powerful only by actually scaring people that they don't lived in peace. Sexual and violence, just feel numb and nothing. Just pure fear near madness because how quick and visceral their emotions were. I did that when I was young, I regretted it. I think my E6 played a part. Thank you chase about VIP stuff, but I wished you elaborate more like attention seeking and stuff. The details I mean. Still, thank you again.

    • @randomcole619
      @randomcole619 Год назад +1

This may sound harsh… stop playing the victim. What happened to you as a child is in the past. Are you going to hold on to that and let it ruin your future? What does being a victim get you? What happened to you was a lesson, learn from it. Take the abuses you’ve had and decide you will never do that to another. If you perpetrate violence against anyone you are no better than the person who abused you. You do not fix trauma with more trauma. Immerse yourself in books, something that helped me a lot as a child was Mercedes Lackey, her Herald’s of Valdemar series. These are stories of people who had it really bad and were given a second chance, that were able to rise above… there is always going to be someone who has it worse than you, always. You don’t get status or praise from being an attention seeker, “virtue signaling”. You are responsible for yourself, if you do something f**ked up, you don’t get to cry, “this happened to me and that’s why”, you have self determination and no one worth having in your life will put up with the pity stories. The more you replay your past, the more you regress, make peace with it. Learn from it. Teal Swan has some helpful videos, Dr. Joe Despenza* has some great videos about controlling what you say and think, Alan Watts is a great philosopher that spits wisdom. This is all on you. Stop abusing others to ‘feel’ something. The abuse will just grow, that’s why sexual deviance escalates, you start with something like bondage, move on to choking, and then you start getting into darker kinks. It’s easy to see and easy to prevent. Learn about natural law. You have a computer in your hand, use it to better yourself. Being useful is one of the most rewarding things you can do, you are inherently valuable in the eyes of God, not in the eyes of man, prove you are more, it starts with showing others and then it will click with you, you will see that you have nothing left to prove…

@@randomcole619 why would you think that telling my own story is automatically asking for pity party? I feel this is more like my past repeat PAST confession really. You're like the third person who thought I'm fishing for sympathy and both of them have victim mentality, so I cut them off irl. Firstly, I told it so people can learn they can do it well in life too when they read mine. Empathise even not comparison. People telling me their stories but I would never compare others, so I don't know where you get this idea. especially if that person is in the similar situation as me. I even remember Chase told his abuse when he was young, I doubt he ask for pity and I understand him. Yet, I don't think I would ever told him to buck the fuck up because only he can do it himself, same as I'm doing mine. Consistently until now. Heck I don't blame if he's really angry with Infps because imagine some wasted potentials turn into fucking nightmares in his country. Secondly, I've never said my life sucks now that is all. Painful yes, and I'm fighting my God damn Best and learning a lot. If I don't learn, I wouldn't even watch Chase vids and typing this comments. Still, thank you for your advice but you really miss the mark on my post. Finally, about asking to elaborate more about attention seeking and any other possibilities. It is up to him to decide if he wants to give context deeply. If anything, is that I feel horrible for being critical that this video is not enough because it's almost the same as the other philosopher vid. Not much difference but People keep asking about when will this video is coming out in the past and to me I'm already grateful enough.
Perhaps you read mine and look that I'm weak so you want to help me by suggesting and advice. I tried to think positive, so again thank you. But part of me is damn, it feels so useless because it doesn't add deeper perspective, context, or nuances. I've already know some of these because again, I watched Chase's vids. Just Feels like wasting my time. I have to read other people's comments and they have a deeper context. Especially they talked about Isfj in Crusader abuse's comment section.
I typed too long and I might miss here and there. Possibly you or Chase don't read this and try to understand it, hence as always our thoughts will be ignored again and already being accused of virtue signalling. Gee wonder why the fuck we kept quiet. But I almost have faith that you read this and understand my perspective. Almost.
Either way, I think I've really tried and I doubt you will properly read mine. I'm looking for brainstorming but your reply is a bit confusing and I'm afraid they will may or may not be another one, it's still will be useless. So I'm just gonna go back to 'sleep' and have a good day sir/madam
Ps: I think it's a possibility you're projecting your story towards me, but what do I know. Also please accept that even though you have the same personality as me but we still built differently. Our culture and background are vastly contrast. Why oh why I'm not surprise if you're from western countries
Pss: I've seen your comments. You're really.. quite judgemental and humblebragging. Welp I rest my case

But here's the thing, I wish Chase elaborate more or expand it in organize manner. That's my complain, like why INFP? Is it Si child? Like I've seen ENTPs, they say they love but they violate people's Fe child that can be really subtle which is insidious. Like Andrew tate trafficking and pimping by tricking women, that's also a form of convoluted ENTP. I don't want Chase to become like that. Worst cases so far I've seen mostly happened is in the western, especially U.S. Because itself doesn't have fair standard rules placed equally in the states especially religions, unlike most other countries. Ironically feels it doesn't have freedom there but only the illusion of it which really messed up, like they don't have wide and respectful 'spaces' per say. Imposing their own rules to one another. I digress, I just want Chase to explain them with more nuanced. I will say the only thing I may disagree with to some extent is labeling philosipher types as pedophiles. Or philosiper types abusing others sexually?
I have been pulled into hugs or "harrased" by types that aren't philosopher types.( Which i use harrased loosely because i usually blame myself.)
Ive had a estp try to get a entp to grab his arm because of feeling like hes being rejected .
There's been a istp and isfp mentioned of abusing "power" over people on the show.
I will expose myself and say that my own stupidity has caused me shame in the past because i thought it was okay to visit a templar when i believed we were on good terms and i ranged the door bell and he threaten to call the cops on me. When later i had another estp explain to me he probably just had another women over.
Almost had something similar happen to me with an isfp as a child if another si user didnt stop it.
I'm just wondering if this is absolute truth or something that is going to be used as a label?
Had a entp tell me maybe it's my naivety but i wouldn't expect you to like rock music.
But if this is something of a hard cold truth it is something that I would work on myself and have others to keep in check for me. ( Entitlement and abuse of power.)
Ever since seeing your older videos mentioning fi being selfish I try and ask my bf if i am being selfish.
