I've watched this one a few times and I think that one of Dwayne's kids painted these pictures. The grandma picture is chilling, and I think we hear something being skinned when Dwayne's picture pops up
yo I would just like to say that your series is fantastic! it really gives off the feeling of some real home video because there have been millions of videos of real home video from families and the way that you do it is actually great! Good luck!
Some thoughts: The best moments are when you defy visual expectations, such as in Christy Baptism 1995, with the 3 long shots of the empty space in the windows-- a weaker approach would have been to do a scare jump on the third. [It's always the third, right?] At the finest moments of the series, you approach the uncanny dread of Skinamarink's visual style. Using that as a familiar reference,, where this project falls down is in the confusing narrative and ultra-minimalist characterization. Skinamarink works because the audience grows to care about 'The boy' and 'the girl'-- there are scenes where its possible to emotionally connect with those characters, and therefore, use them as narrative guides for interpretation. This project doesn't have that, so what we are left with is a disjointed series of imagery and text. Speaking of, I'd dial back the religious comments from a 10 to an 7, and trust the audience a little more. We get it: the 'narrator' of the piece is a spirit. The third or fourth reference to 'God' or 'Angels' or 'Heaven' drain it all of mystery. I'd actually consider losing all of the text, it didn't bring anything in, and it diffuses a lot of atmosphere. To wrap it up, I'd say this overall, approaches a real success. What it did successfully was to interest me in your future work. A special note of praise for the sound design, which was uniformly excellent and well mixed. Good luck, happy trails, happy haunting.
@@DPSFSU the channel seems to be owned by a kid from a family who's moved in to a cursed house of sorts, thanks to the church nearby that abducts its members and uses them for demonic purposes. There seems to be a lot of religious imagery within this series and this here is the aftermath of what has become of their family here after staying here for too long
@@DPSFSUI’m gathering that it’s about a man who killed his family for some reason. I love to hear analog horrors out, especially if they have a story worth telling, but this one is admittedly very very slow. I do enjoy it because it’s a return to form with older horror series like Meatsleep though
I don't know how I'm feeling about this Dwayne guy
He seems like a nice enough guy
Bros built like the tower of Mordor lmao
But he’s a 10 time world champion
Those screams gave me chills

he recomended that series on discord and i found great too
Surprise this isn't bigger. The presentation of it all is fantastic aside the screeching but i got sensitive ears.
Probably because apart from the atmosphere there’s not much more to it.

Oh my god it's cookies... With raisins instead of chocolate chips!!! Oh the deceit and evil it takes to do such a thing.
