Right now I’m in a situation where I have to decide in couple of months if I want to renovate my older home which is paid off . & my dad who passed away 2021 gave me & my brothers the home I’m in & (we have to renovate new kitchen & up stairs & downstairs floors & update maintenances like roofing & cracks around the house etc & we may have to build a extra room for his wife’s daughter that’s moving in ) I don’t know much about buying new home or selling my home . Trying to compare which is cheaper. Or choose the best decision 😭 I’m going towards renovating but I know it’s going to cost so much with my home being so old . & my dad never updated his home . OR should we just sell the home & let go of the old home & start fresh 😭Needs some advice from anyone in the comments🙏🏽. Ive been stressing over this decision. My brother wants to sell our home & buy a new home & says it may cost the same as renovating 😭 but new homes now , I know prices are very high !! 😭
