I've actually been working on a google doc tracker thing that I've been using as I try and search through a possible season that every game in the franchise canonically did (or might have) taken place in, if anyone's interested. I believe it was the song UN Owen being used in so many memes at the time. And i think her character design is appealing to alot of folks because it’s on the border of being ridiculous but not quite.

She finally has another appearance in Detective Satori and she actually speaks, but it seems she's just there for a couple chapters.

Sounds cool, but sadly I lost a lot of my replays (including pretty much all the ExNNs I already had) thanks to a windows update almost bricking my PC back in march. I might be able to fish out some of them if I look well on some replay databases but I'm pretty sure that I didn't upload all of them. Especially the UFO ExNN which I did a very long time ago. I also don't really feel like redoing those that I already had just because of this. :s
Actually, I managed to find all my ExNNs back in some way. :D EoSD, IN, SA, UFO and LoLK I have replays of, so I can rerecord them in higher quality like I did for some of the recordings in this video. Sadly, this is not possible for the TD and DDC ExNN. Their rpys are lost forever I'm afraid. I will have to just put down my recordings from this channel in there. And I don't have PCB, MoF and HSiFS ExNN yet, but compiling all ExNNs sounds fun enough to maybe clean up these last few. Should not be very hard anyways.

Actually extremely easy. The bullets are aimed at you and are smaller than they look, so you just have to repeatly tap in one direction. That’s most of EoSD anyways

I'm grinding to beat touhou 15 lunatic and my first forced bomb is in stage 1 tho i can do this stage without bombs, it's really rare that i do it and i have a forced bomb in stage two too Junko's three last spells are horrible, espiecially the last one. Unavoidable unless you do it hundreds of times wich i probably won't do
Would you ever consider putting together a compilation of perfect lunatic runs for all the PC98 games (possibly Excluding PoDD)? I mean, you're welcome to try and be the first to do it considering I've never seen anyone get a NMNB lunatic run on HRtP before for either route.
Many of these runs took at least dozens of attempts. Therefore I was not going to have dialogue open every attempt when I've already seen it plenty times. If you want to read the dialogue it's best to go to the touhou wiki.
And people say: "Touhou 8 is the easiest".. I guess a better description would be "most accessible" due to Spell Practice (which all it does is save you time), maximum number of lives, and last spells being optional. In the end, it just depends on your skill set and aims.
If it's about the high difficutly rating, it's probably more the fact that I had trouble with Scarlet Team and FinalB than the fact that it's IN. IN Border FinalA would probably go towards 2 or 2.5 stars. Also there are really big differences between basic 1cc and runs like this.
Yatsuzume Yes, difficulty ranges depending on multilple factors such as your aim (run type), team, not accessing Spell Practice (makes a difference for us, peasantry :P) and game settings. I for instance had an OCD of sorts to go for high scores, even though my skills and/or experience were probably not even good enough to 1cc any Touhou on Lunatic (I get particularly nervous at stage 5/6 and start losing all lives I accumiliated. Never tried ignoring points though.) For intermediate players who struggle to 1cc Lunatic, most Touhous are easier than IN because Final B pretty much requires 1cc. On another note: I'm surprised how low you rate PCB and SA's difficulties (even with the run type in mind) Mad skills.
How many people can say they have accomplished the same ? Congratulations for all these runs ^^ Also, are you planning to continue Touhou or stop for a bit now ?
Hatsune Miku mostly because it doesn't belong to the main shmups and because it's very unfun to do. Eiki has been programmed to always win her first round. There's a way around that by abusing the AI's way of reading bullets or walling them in frequently enough. Aya, medicine and reimu are the best at doing this. However, it's very luck reliant and just not really fun as you're just grinding your way to one final stage attempt in which you hope the glitch happens. I actually managed to no miss eiki in a marathon a long time ago. It just happens at random and it's not worth going for as a specific achievement.
just one question, how is IN on the same difficulty as UFO? is it because of your shottype? then what is the actual difficulty when playing team border? edit : 4 and a half, even more difficult than UFO lol.
Fun fact, this was actually the first IN Scarlet Team LNNFS ever done. From what I've heard though it is surprisingly hard to LNNFS, even with Border Team.
Zekamashi The Destroyer the game is mostly streaming which makes it quite a bit easier As far as bosses go, Satori and Orin are the only really hard ones imo, Okuu isn't too bad except for her first and penultimate spellcard I am no expert though so my sight on this might be weird
I actually rate SA LNN comparatively high. Most people in Japan with SA LNN actually seem to give it something closer to 1.5 or 2 stars. But I was stuck on it for a long time which did end up changing my opinion. SA kinda lacks anything super hard and most of the stuff is pretty straight forward.
SA just has this odd property that it has many smaller threats that can just kill you in really unexpected ways, and it stays at least moderately dangerous throughout a lot of the game, which means you have to keep paying attention. Often considered hard by the community include Double Black Death Butterfly, the Stage 5 Rin midboss spell and Utsuho's first two spells, but the smaller threats add up to a single big threat of their own, too.
Well, since all the main games are over, how about going for the side games (12.8 and Aya games)? I know that Aya games and ISC is really hard to LNN but I thought I would tell you since there's not much left to do.
I might LNN GFW if I find it fun enough. I've not played that game for real in years so I'll have to get accomodated first again. I did hear that it's very easy compared to the LNN's I've already done (even much easier than TD or PCB). I want to speedrun Double Spoiler, but I'm not really going for a nomiss on that. If I happen to get it during a run I'll gladly highlight it though since it's very hard to perform (in fact, I don't think anybody has ever done it before).

Actually extremely easy. The bullets are aimed at you and are smaller than they look, so you just have to repeatly tap in one direction.

Junko's three last spells are horrible, espiecially the last one. Unavoidable unless you do it hundreds of times wich i probably won't do

Many of these runs took at least dozens of attempts. Therefore I was not going to have dialogue open every attempt when I've already seen it plenty times.
If you want to read the dialogue it's best to go to the touhou wiki.

I guess a better description would be "most accessible" due to Spell Practice (which all it does is save you time), maximum number of lives, and last spells being optional. In the end, it just depends on your skill set and aims.
If it's about the high difficutly rating, it's probably more the fact that I had trouble with Scarlet Team and FinalB than the fact that it's IN.
IN Border FinalA would probably go towards 2 or 2.5 stars.
Also there are really big differences between basic 1cc and runs like this.

Yes, difficulty ranges depending on multilple factors such as your aim (run type), team, not accessing Spell Practice (makes a difference for us, peasantry :P) and game settings. I for instance had an OCD of sorts to go for high scores, even though my skills and/or experience were probably not even good enough to 1cc any Touhou on Lunatic (I get particularly nervous at stage 5/6 and start losing all lives I accumiliated. Never tried ignoring points though.)
For intermediate players who struggle to 1cc Lunatic, most Touhous are easier than IN because Final B pretty much requires 1cc.
On another note: I'm surprised how low you rate PCB and SA's difficulties (even with the run type in mind) Mad skills.

Hatsune Miku mostly because it doesn't belong to the main shmups and because it's very unfun to do.
Eiki has been programmed to always win her first round. There's a way around that by abusing the AI's way of reading bullets or walling them in frequently enough. Aya, medicine and reimu are the best at doing this. However, it's very luck reliant and just not really fun as you're just grinding your way to one final stage attempt in which you hope the glitch happens.
I actually managed to no miss eiki in a marathon a long time ago. It just happens at random and it's not worth going for as a specific achievement.

Zekamashi The Destroyer the game is mostly streaming which makes it quite a bit easier
As far as bosses go, Satori and Orin are the only really hard ones imo, Okuu isn't too bad except for her first and penultimate spellcard
I am no expert though so my sight on this might be weird
I actually rate SA LNN comparatively high. Most people in Japan with SA LNN actually seem to give it something closer to 1.5 or 2 stars. But I was stuck on it for a long time which did end up changing my opinion.
SA kinda lacks anything super hard and most of the stuff is pretty straight forward.
SA just has this odd property that it has many smaller threats that can just kill you in really unexpected ways, and it stays at least moderately dangerous throughout a lot of the game, which means you have to keep paying attention. Often considered hard by the community include Double Black Death Butterfly, the Stage 5 Rin midboss spell and Utsuho's first two spells, but the smaller threats add up to a single big threat of their own, too.
But not all spells were captured tho, anyways great video!

Well, since all the main games are over, how about going for the side games (12.8 and Aya games)? I know that Aya games and ISC is really hard to LNN but I thought I would tell you since there's not much left to do.
I might LNN GFW if I find it fun enough. I've not played that game for real in years so I'll have to get accomodated first again. I did hear that it's very easy compared to the LNN's I've already done (even much easier than TD or PCB).
I want to speedrun Double Spoiler, but I'm not really going for a nomiss on that. If I happen to get it during a run I'll gladly highlight it though since it's very hard to perform (in fact, I don't think anybody has ever done it before).

The replays from Amana tend to have a lot of effort into finding safe, consistent routes. He has all LNN(N) as well.
My own video here is also quite helpful I like to believe, though especially some of my older runs (TD, MoF, PCB) might have some stanky moves.
