Eh, in order to have a large RUclips following it almost has to be on topics that are used by the masses. I would guess most people are here because they like you Martin and enjoy what you are doing. Myself I live on the side of a lake and have been around the water almost all of my life so I can relate. I'm in my early 70's and glad I used to sail my catamarans on Keystone lake almost every day in the summer when I was younger. You are smart to enjoy when you can do it. I know it is against the grain, but I have no regrets the way I did it.
Your thoughts near the end of the video makes it clear you are grateful !! I donated because I enjoy boating and your videos capture the peace and relaxation that nature gives and i enjoy feeling that through your adventures!! It's cool that I could have a positive impact on your reality. Best day ever !!
Another great video Martin. River put a smile on my face when he got all excited and jumped onto dingy for the first time. Next time I see I’ll challenge you to a race 😂.
I was thinking about something like that... Great tip bud, I appreciate it. I wanted to thank you again. It was very kind of you to donate. You're awesome my friend. River loves it. He just loves the boat and now we're back to going for 5 or six rides a day. Because of you and people like you.
Thank you brother I appreciate it. You. Guys are awesome for helping out. Thanks for watching the video I hope you guys are having a good day,,, My thoughts are with you and your wife... brother 👍.

That's funny, that is the exact same inflatable as I have, only mine is black. Mine has been inflated for 2 years, I have only need to give 1 pump or just to top it off when it got cooler.
That's awesome... Thanks for letting me know. I appreciate it. I'm glad I picked this one. It really has turned into a good boat. 👍 Thanks for taking the time to watch the video too. I appreciate it..

Congratulations on the new boat. It looks great. I was curious if they sell Farm diesel near you instead of using regular diesel? Not sure if it's the same out there as it is here but farm diesel is about a dollar cheaper a gallon. It's not always easy to find one close by.
They do sell farm diesel here. And there are gas stations where the pumps all say 87. All the way across with no other options, small town, right.... Great tip I appreciate it.
All right, I'm sold. I'm going to get one of those to save time. The extra money will be worth it. Did you seal the wood in any way on the old dingy? I'm sure a marine grade epoxy would have given more life out of the wood. And yea, vinyl would have been a pain in the behind to maintain a repair under marine conditions. And the plastic underneath might be weldable if it's hdpe but would not have been worth the time or effort to repair. DINGHY, people, DINGHY. IT'S NOT dingy yet, until River turns it all dull-coloured, drab, grimy, dirty looking. But I'm sure Martin will keep it well-scrubbed, all shipshape & Bristol - fashion.
Go north about 10 miles and you will start finding 100’s of floating structures that are left unattended year around in the area. They call them duck blinds, perhaps your little floating structure could assume the identity as a “duck blind” and that way you could leave it unattended overnight parked away from the “marina” umbrella. TVA and the corps if engineers eliminated the “shanty boat” communities many years ago and they will make rules to eliminate anyone living your lifestyle if people in power “aka lake home owners” decide that living your lifestyle is a problem for their recreational activities. Just telling what I have observed happening on many rivers in the region. The rich and powerful want control, simple but true, I have seen this happening on the river you recently found for over 50 years, slowly and steadily losing opportunities for the average person.
I made a bunch of videos about the duck blinds. And I've said the same thing. It would be pretty easy to get a permit for a duck blind and then live on it. As far as the government making it so I can't do what I'm doing. I've had that conversation too many times... My view is I follow the rules. If the rules change, I follow the new rules. I am not trying to stay in one spot. I also know of several floating house communities on the river, Cherokee marina is mainly float cabins. Lots of places in Tennessee, where you can actually build a floating home. It's just not certain waterways. I appreciate you watching the videos and taking the time to post a comment very kind of you.
@ No permit is required for the duck blinds along the river,I know guys who have squatted in spots for 40 years with the duck blinds. Where is Cherokee Marina located, I thought I knew all the marinas on Kentucky and Barkley lakes, even down to the Parsons area. I 100% agree that rules need to be followed but I do believe they do not want people living full time on the lake, in Marinas or in the rv parks dotting the area.
I hope your new dingy does well for you! No running lights for night time? I guess you are using a pull motor so no real need for a battery. What size is your motor on the dingy?
It's 8 horsepower motor and it will charge a battery. But putting a battery in the boat will just make it way more and I don't have a starter. I did get lights in the mail. USB charging loghts... Thanks for watching I appreciate it.
Hey How do u like your Toyota Tacoma? How is the towing ? A lot of RUclips say their Tacoma doesn’t tow well. I am a day away from picking up my long bed crew cab Tacoma and is having second thoughts. I did put down a $500.00 to hold my truck until I get there, it was 2 hours away.
I think it Tows great as long as you're within its capacity. My r v is about five thousand pounds and it tells it just fine. I have, never had any trouble with towing the boat. Or anything like that? It's been really great. It's definitely not a 1500 but I. Also get really good gas mileage when there's no trailer so.... My biggest problem when I'm towing is that the gas tank in mine is only 18 gallons and at 10 miles a gallon. You're filling up every two hundred miles.
Martin .. I've been binge watching your videos .. enjoying the thrifty lifestyle you have going for you. I've shared your videos as well .. and even tho I'm in my 70s .. this is something I could easily do .. but can't ATM. Enjoyed your heartfelt thank you to all the subscribers .. wishing others would subscribe to boost your channel. I'm also EMT - ER & Ambulance trained .. also orthopedic tech. Your explanation about the benefits of this dingy will save a lot of people in making a good choice should they decide to find one. I hope you make it a specific review for this dingy. I have played with shanty boat design in my head because of your videos .. and now I want to share a link with you and others here about an "ocean going" shanty of sorts. A large platform and telephone pole mask. Enjoy! ruclips.net/video/zCBjAQ5FUg8/видео.html

What brand is your new dingy?
Bris... 10.8 hi Les, 👋
