Had that over 20years ago. I Worked in a small garage/dealership as the service receptionist. The owner had a MK1 Skoda Favorit that had been very heavily modified for tarmac rallying. It had the engine, gearbox, differentials from a 2.0lt Ford Sierra Cosworth. The suspension and brakes were very heavily upgraded. And the car is lowered and had wider sticky tyres. So it had been on a rally and the boss had clipped a fence post and damaged a rear door. The car was all white. So we were taking it to a paint shop to get resprayed. We were driving on the Motorway at about 70mph, when a BMW 530 Came up fast behind us. My boss smiled and said watch this. He gunned the Skoda and drew level and passed the BMW. Who in turn accelerated, we did more, this went to over 100mph, then on to 120mph. The BMW decided this was beyond him and backed off. At this point our junction was approaching very quickly. Boss braked hard and slowed to 80 before take a tight left turn that few roading cars could manage. So this driver realised that his BMW was NOT the ultimate driving machine.
