And the winner is #5! Low profile cable! Until of course, MB fix this design distater, but buying a new van just to get the fix is a lot more than $20 😅
Awesome suggestion! That's my one worry and I always try to pull the magnet straight off so I don't scratch the paint. Does it affect the magnet's strength?
@@IAmATravelAddict you might lose one Pound holding strength out of 100pounds which is very negligible. I scratched mine and dulled off the glossy paint coating.

100% agree on the tape. I've been using Alien Tape from Bell-Howell for past year and love it.
Def recommend Alien Tape. I've used Duck and they're pretty good, too. I just picked up a pack, they're part of the Prime Day sale.

Put clear tape on the magnet so it dont scratch the van paint when you remove the magnet.
