i heard that they had this song even before nct debuted and that it was nearly the first unit's debut song in 2016. i find it beautiful that they probably all had known about this song for so long and decided to release it years later... ;'>
I think SM has said something about creating more subunits. NCT USA is already in the works with the confirmed show. And pretty sure a Japanese subunit is in the works. Unfortunately, SM stopped introducing trainees through SM rookies. So we don't know if they have enough Japanese trainees ready to debut yet. I think Shotaro has already been introduced because he has been trained to dance since he was 5 years old
Honestly after the teaser photos/mv dropped, everyone was so unnecessarily negative. Cuz like you said the other group songs were so hard hitting. Its not my favorite song on the album but I really appreciate that they decided to do this. The line distribution was pretty fair and I loved the harmonies of certain members together that you normally wouldn’t hear. Overall just really proud of em! Also nct japan has been in the making for so long..everyone already knows its coming but damn sm is taking their time.
Fingers crossed we'll see them debut in 2022. I wouldn't want to debut during a pandemic with no opportunity to tour due to major travel restrictions or do live shows so I wouldn't be surprised if they held off their original plans (who knows how it has affected groups like aespa....). (I can't think of any performers who didn't have to drastically change their plans over the last two years) But that is just my theory
idk if I’m the only that hears this but that very distinct voice in the harmony almost sounds like Yoo Youngjin (legendary producer/vocal coach/ singer for SM). I feel like he definitely produced this and did the demo.
Doyoung knows how to emote. Mr. Kleenex don't play... he'll take you there. It's a uplifting track, beautiful lyrics that will help many push forward. NCT once again delivers.
This is most uplifting video I’ve watched for a long time. And… I don’t like myself much saying this but… I wish whoever caused Lucas missed this will live and die alone… unloved… and soon.

this song hit me like Rainbow did, like Dear Dream did. straight to the heart, in the most beautiful way, and i'm so happy the group got to do a full MV for this track, and that the group as a whole got to do this, because it's such a blessing. and i love that they brought the whistles from the album teaser vods back into this.
Oh my goodness, every minute of this reaction was so relatable! 100% agree with the final thoughts too. It’s not the kind of music I usually listen to, but the song is really nice and their voices sound beautiful and we definitely needed something light and sweet after a troubling year.
