Nathan Moore Well two things.. First, we've already seen tons of gameplay anf images from the expansion. And people have already dug up the files containing music files and even played as octolings. So the DLC is pretty much ready. Two, the Octo expansion is just DLC. BotW was an entire game, and a huge game at that. I don't think they'll have to postpone the DLC unless something really goes wrong
Dear Nintendo can you please update the software on the 3DS XL and 2DS XL were you can map buttons to the C stick, I should be able to map up to 4 buttons to the C stick and I want to be able to map the L,LZ and R,RZ buttons on original DS games. The PlayStation Vita has a button mapping system, so why not a button mapping system on the 3DS XL and the 2DS XL. Please and thanks.

Mikelan inklings are announced for smash on switch, but i doubt octo expansion would be there too, but maybe an octoling, agent 3/4 costumes for the inkling or maybe even agent 7/8 octoling costumes as a re-skin for the inkling, that could be possible
Octolings might make it as a skin for the Inkling character or as a player character with different Attacks from the inkling (like if the inkling has some weapons and the octoling had others - Splatoon is pretty big to fit in one character only)

I'm thinking that, since Pearl and Marina are such big characters in Octo Expansion, they've been recruited by Cap'n Cuttlefish as Agents 5 and 6 respectively. Which leaves us with 7. If you watched the trailer (which who here didn't), you might remember that, at about 1:13 in the trailer, you can actually see 2 octolings in the stasis chamber thing, a boy and a girl. That boy is Agent 7, who, going with the dark theme of Octo Expansion, might be a failed experiment, having passed away. But hey, that's just what I think.
