Harakiri for the Sky is one of THE most interesting Austrian Metal Bands at the Moment. Their style can be described as Post Black Metal and the Singer has an amazing project called KARG also. The Guiat Player of Harakiri has an great Project called Anomalie and all of them are really good fellas and eally nice people to talk to

Shane, I absolutely love your dedication for pronunciation. This song was great. I loved the mellow music in the background and the dirty vocals. It made the song really interesting. Excellent work as usual.

Harakiri for the Sky is excellent. Haven't been able to see them live, sadly. Their style has evolved quite a bit, but all their albums are excellent. I'm most partial to the album III: Trauma, the whole thing just goes quite well together, but they don't really have any songs I'd skip on any of their albums.
Side note, regarding "related bands", that was Unrequited (just following the black metal convention of occasionally subbing in a v for a u.) Unreqvited is excellent atmospheric black metal, as is Violet Cold (solo project by an dude out of Azerbaijan, although he is a bit eclectic, and quite prolific, does some ambient electronic stuff too) . Neither of these bands really not stylistically similar to HFTS, but maybe mood/thematically they are, so they're grouped together? Both worth checking out, though.

Something about this got me feeling all out of sorts and I can't really put my finger on it....maybe some of their other material would be more appealing to me but I will take a pass on this particular one....
