    I believe that I have watched all of your videos... If not I will have very soon. Then start over. I have used the radial filter before but only to lighten my subject a bit.. You have opened my eyes to a completely new way of editing. Some of my older images that I have always liked but , ya know just a little something was missing, have taken on a whole new life with the day to night process. Thank you so much. Impressively quick and easy and a beautiful result! I travel extensively creating images very much like this for high-end clients with some pretty special cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc. Previously, I would work in total darkness shooting between 100 and 500 separately lit images , then create layers, detailing each part of the image to end up with scenes similar to what you're doing here. Total time spent shooting and processing the final piece could approach 30 hours. With the advent of AI, I see a whole different workflow on the horizon...

    • @jamiermathlin

      Many thanks for the comment, as you say the advent of Ai has increased productivity as well as improved the end results. I have only recently started to use these tools, the more I practice the better I become, it is so impressive what can be achieved 😀

    • @jamiermathlin
      @jamiermathlin  Год назад

      Personally, I have tried two different Wacom tablets, an A4 and A3 version, and both worked extremely well, I have also tried a number of different mice and trackpads, to be honest, I am happy to just use my MacBook Pro in-built trackpad, it is large and sensitive and allows for many different finger gestures and finger combinations, something that you notice is very much missing with Windows computers. If you are a Windows user, then a Wacom tablet is an excellent step up for your input options. 😀

    Jamie: this is in respone to your info on exposure changes for printing. Thank you for that. But, I also have to say that aesthetically a night image is a difficult sell. For some reason it doesn't carry the cache in the collectors art world. Show me images of night scenes - some in b&w, very few in color. - that are collectible. The drama is there, but you don't see these printable images in an art exhibit. This is just my take on the situation.

    • @jamiermathlin
      @jamiermathlin  Год назад +1

      I think you are right buddy, you do not see many nighttime shots selling as fine art. Personally, I do not market my images for sale, I just love to show people how I process, and I hope that many people get enjoyment from what I do 😀

    Well Mr Jamie,y are not photographer, y are amazing painter .
    Following y some time, learn lots but one thing I want to ask. Expl: if I start editing how can I make pause for an day,two and then continue where I left off, and at the same time have the possibility to repair or return to a previous state.

    • @jamiermathlin
      @jamiermathlin  Год назад +1

      If you use Adobe Lightroom Classic on your computer, you can just stop editing at anytime, close Lightroom, or move to another image without any of your work being lost, when you go back to the same image, it will be exactly where you left off, with the history fully available. Adobe Photoshop is the same as long as you click save when it asks you if you want to leave. I use the Adobe Creative Cloud App (CC) this makes managing your Adobe software easy and reliable. I hope this was helpful :-)
