Batman seems to misunderstand Cap here. Captain America has never fought for a political agenda, he fights for the principles and ideals that the United States was always supposed to stand for. He can and has fought against his own country when he feels their actions are starting to sway too far from what the United States claimed to stand for at the time of its foundation.

Actually hasn't Captain America rehabilitated some villains? He has saved tons of lives. How many enemy mooks have Captain America and iron man killed in the MCU or the games?
They're supposed to be the good guys and yet they mercilessly murder literally every major villian and don't even bother to take prisoners.
Each of those soldiers had families, mothers, father's, sisters and brother and they just gave them a reason to join the enemy side.
Not only that but Cap is siding with the government, the same government that's fine countless atrocities to minorities and various peoples ( like the mutants from X-Men whom Tony and cap don't give a shit about and never actually help despite being familiar with many of them) or the native Americans in our time which are all but dead now.
Remember when the government banned all superheroes because of one unfortunate event despite there literally having had been countless greater incidents like that during major battles in prior movies like the battle of New York?
      Good times.

"I've done it without relying on a shield." Also Batman--relies on gimmicks like grappling guns, bat shaped throwing stars, spiked heavy gloves, combat boots, reinforced helmet, gliding cape, smoke pellets, tear gas, a deathmobile with guns and explosives. LOL OK Batman! "I don't fight for agendas." Also Batman--obsessed with getting back at his parent's killer and scaring people into submission like a terrorist.

@@datedjr1 Captain America is solely responsible for training every member of the Avengers. He also has had great role in training other members of other teams such as the X-Men. And without any special gear or copious amount of prep time - Captain has had similar outings as Batman. However, usually Captain deals with hordes of enemies as he is commonly illustrated as the front line. Batman usually devises a plan to ambush and take on his opposition one-on-one; unless they are canon fodder. In some instances Batman is stated he has prepared for undisclosed time which becomes a common slate cleaner of past events so it tells us the viewers he has been concentrating on the said event for quite awhile; eg making the hell bat suit to fight against a projection of Darkseid.
And lastly, the DeathBattle video from the RUclips channel was done by a poor team that barely researched the characters.. not only that, they have a poor understanding of the cosmology these characters reside. In a real fight, Cap would blitz Batman and end him in less than a minute. How I know this? Because Cap runs through hordes of beings more ancient and/or technologically advanced than humans in marvel, which scale higher than DC humans. In a DeathBattle Batman gets no advantage over his opponents like he always does; it’s an even play ground. And there’s nothing even about their physical attributes.

@@MotorcycleCheetah What you consider "Petty" is what we call "Empathy." It is a violation of the actor's privacy and permission and unintentionally disrespects the integrity of his, her, or their career; though to most publisher's this fad of sampling the voices of historical figures or vocal artists seems to not pose a threat to anyone, long lasting effects into the mainstream--which we are seeing now--slowly prove otherwise. Incidentally, I figured the question of a Mortality vs. Legacy dispute would begin since the memers fail to comprehend the consequences of their actions where it inflicts the actor's concerns of their own mortality or worth among their peers. After all, *Acting is a business as much as an form of art; executive/directors have the authority to not hire actors for unjust reasons--anticipate this may worsen as A.I. technology progresses at an alarming rate.* None technological interventions already pose a threat to Voice Actors through the process of Celebrification, i.e., long-time veteran voice actor Charles Martinet being replaced by Chris Pratt for the Mario movie--just to point things out. Sure, some actors might be more passive with their thoughts towards preserving their voice through artificial intelligence instead from a recording booth--may be even find it comical. But the majority agree it would not right to undermine said hard work and deprive the actor of it. Personally, this is something I mostly agree with, even though some projects work great for me to want to listen to them again, the situation is also betraying these actors of their hard work and lack of permission. The reason the website Cameo exists for the veterans actors--now--to farm their profit because they might be finding less work. That's what we call "Restitution."
