I use Pixhawk on my drone and I have managed to set up all six flight modes and while testing the other day and almost crashed because of one of two different reasons I think number one is it may have to go back into stabilize mode before utilizing any other flight mode or and this is very important I usually keep a small 7.5 V battery with a zine or diode 1000 µF capacitor connected connected in parallel to the controller in the event a sudden power surge, a sudden gust of wind or need of quick course correction that causes a spike amperage demand it gives an extra second or so preventing the controller from Browning out and rebooting. Now this is just a theory many things can cause crashes.
Already fixed and sold it.. on to bigger drones these days; Hex Cube Orange on s900 and s1000. But thanks! This was my learning/practice drone for moving to open source drones.
Where did you put your battery? Coz by watching it fall it seems the left side is heavier.. Mine if it fall accidentally it used to hit only the four landing gear. So motor and everything else is safe, just some damaged landing gear.
@@medokhrowe6704 I did. Several times. Autotuning didn't work for me though because my copter was too lightweight (small battery 5200 mAh) to get a good autotune out of it. So I just ended up tuning it manually.

You can actually arm it in several different modes before switching to Autotune, just f.y.i. However this crash was a result of my having set an emergency motor stop switch and then later forgetting that I had done that.
Yes.It was my mistake. I had set an "emergency motors stop" switch earlier for testing stuff indoors and forgot to switch it back to being my autotune switch. Thus, testing the emergency motors stop switch reveals that it works perfectly, unfortunately ;). I had it fixed up and flying again the next day.

I had it centered the best I could. Not sure why it fell harder on the left.
Oh then it mush be due to sensitive PID settings.

You have to arm it in AltHold and take off. Then you switch to autotune.

Pilot error: I flipped the "Emergency motor kill" switch. It worked perfectly, unfortunately.
