When i found dnd i was just settling into a crippling meth addiction. I listened to jesse through 9 years of chronic addiction. I cycled through substances as fast as i cycled through favorite songs. When i found escape from the zoo i was comfortably addicted to cocaine. The substances i ised lead me down a path of self destruction that was too gruesome to describe here. Very recently i experienced a trauma that i think will finally scare me straight, and this song along with the absolute fucking inspiration that is jesses recovery are what im taking as motivation to finally get better. This saturday im having my last beer with the people i love, and after that im going to change my ways and do everything i can to help others avoid the fate i drove myself into. Jesse, if you see this, thank you so fucking much for carrying me through the hardest time of my life. Youre a saint
including the speech from Nathan at the end of the first season of Misfits was an amazing touch.
The realisation that the intro audio is part of Nathan's speech from Misfits has made me very happy. More UK tv iconic references from my favourite US bands, please!
First time I heard days/dazed I knew Jessie would sound killer over a fast track. His lyrics are always great and can somehow make me happy, sad, and angry, in a 3 minute song.
Well, since he's greatly inspired by Scott from Leftöver Crack that's an accurate assumption! In this track his inspiration also really comes through (:

Just saw these legends in sparks Nevada the other day. Didn't love them on the internet. Fell in love with them immediately live. Such a bad ass band. See them live if you like loud good times. Their to fucking worth it!

i've always got this impression that this man could only write acoustic folk punk songs, but then you hear this, and i'm amazed how creative jesse really is. and that guitar lead in this song is sick. these two and the alternating vocals work so well. she has a great voice!
