Comparing to Japanese piano, what is its tone?

A lot warmer, more European (obviously) and overall better (imo). Unless you love the precise (my opinion!!!!), rough, hard sound of japanese pianos it's a lot different. Uncomparable, really. Look up RUclips vids on Asian, European and American piano sounds (differences). There are a lot of them. Sorry for the late reply btw

Which Japanese pianos? Between Kawai and Yamaha, there are 4 or 5 levels of pianos with a different type of tone in each level. And the Kawai and Yamaha tones are different and they keep getting more refined with each new generation. Fuerich has a Fuerich tone. Kawai has a range of Kawai tones. Yamaha has a range of Yamaha tones.
