Now, I know Move will always be his signature song, but to me, Want is his best song. I will NEVER get over how incredible that song is to me! I still remember the shookation I experienced when I first heard it. It’s one of my favorite songs EVER. The atmosphere that song creates, it is so seductive, sinister & beautiful. I also love his voice the most on that song. It’s just perfection to me, everything, I could write a 5 page essay explaining why I love that song. His entire discography is impeccable though, he is so set on who he is and what he likes, he truly has a vision, even he experiments like with Advice, rather than it feeling like a concept he puts on, it feels like an extension of who he is an what he can do. He is a real artist, on many levels.

@@Koko3op omg you are such a queen, I’ve never seen that video before but yes yes yes! Also, I think what’s so impressive about that era is also the fact that it was right after Move which was MASSIVE so imagine the anticipation the public must have felt and the nerves for him to deliver. I even remember him saying something like that in one of the interviews from back then. So I find it really amazing that they managed to create magic under such pressure. From the song to the video the choreo and clothes, everything, you are so right was perfect! Ugh I miss 2019, it was when I became a kpop fan, the song came out a month or so before and I just remember the shock, I was so surprised to see something like that from a male artist during that time.
I feel the same way girl. Taemin has always been and will be my fav dancer. He is sooo in tune with his body and his emotions. He is very expressive and he personally teaches me how to be myself and express myself in a creative way. He know who he is and what he wants and I LOVE that about him.
For me his best is Criminal, it's always playing on loop on my mind.. but everything he does is fantastic honestly

The king of kpop Lee Taemin
I always think about the complexity of how the song is produced, the vocal tricks and the instrumental, the beats, that piano inserted in the whole song.. I mean only Taemin can give you unexpected twists and turns in his music... Advice is a far superior work of art in quality and if I remember correctly he had a very tight time when he put it all together before he left. One of the riskiest songs if not the riskiest song I've heard so far by a male solo artist and if you add to that the fastest choreo of the century by a soloist... uff. Advice was totally out of Taemin's comfort zone in every aspect and still super ate that era.. Best artist ever Taemin. Advice is still my queen.

Lee Taemin! Yaaasss! I love to hear all of the musical and vocal background gems that Drew points out. In an interview, Taemin confirmed that on high parts, he recorded it lower and they pitched it higher in post. I don’t know the technical terms, but hopefully, that makes sense. 😊

Hi, i am back, Micah. Good reaction, ty. New Taemin bias here. I love Move and Want. I do feel the songs are connected. My fav song is Goodbye though. The feels are everything. This was interesting. I am glad he liked the songs. The more i watch Taemin the more i feel that the word androgynous does not suit him. He is beautiful but male to me. I do feel when he was younger and had that gorgeous long hair the word fit him more. Because i heard he was mistaken for a girl often. But these days I just feel off when i hear the word.
