Scenes From Doubt on Broadway, Starring Amy Ryan and Liev Schreiber

The first revival of John Patrick Shanley's Doubt: A Parable is currently running on Broadway at the Todd Haimes Theatre. Under the direction of Scott Ellis, the cast include Amy Ryan, Liev Schreiber, Zoe Kazan, and Quincy Tyler Bernstine.

This looks awful. A cheap imitation of that landmark original production with an unbeatable cast led by Brian F O Byrne and the astonishing Cherry Jones

We are pressing toward 1000 Broadway productions seen. The ESCALATION here absent from the one-note movie is as gripping a spiral as anything we have ever seen. Don't let that priest or nun get their mitts on nuclear weapons!

I love Liev, but he seems to be playing Ray Donovan as a priest. Amy Ryan sounds like she is in a high school production. I really wanted to see this revival until now. Tyne...come back!
