Man I need some of this advice, being in a different timezone is rough not able to catch streams. Started playing only recently and watching nonstop guides is hella confusing! Especially when having to research every choice I make worried that it's the wrong one like which boss armour to pick etc!

I think its worth noting to some people that are just shy of an important ap bracket and youre using tet bs, a much cheaper option than just going pen bs/pen accesorry or even tet disto in some cases, you can just get a tri godyr giving you 4 ap for only an 8bil(after selling your tet bs).

I should have let you review my account before I started fixing it. 291 AP with only 320 DP, only had two pieces of PEN boss armor with two tet distortions and a pen bs. I had to sweat to stay alive in the grind, orcs and giants.
Feeling much better after trading some AP for DP. Sold the distos to work on my armor and now at 280/340.
Thank you to the random person in the twitch comments who said you could hover over a piece of gear and scroll to change the grade. i didn't even know that was a thing.
now a fun thing to do would be to track down whatever guide some of these messy builds came from if possible

Plus I've got 2x pen tung earrings, pen tung belt, pen ogre and 2x tet tung ring. I run the 200% own rage set. Why? Just because it's fun. I hate that debos, distos, etc don't have rage. Once the rings are pen I'm stuck. I don't wanna give up my rage tho.

Are these all PVP oriented? Or can i take some tips for myself as a PVE only player?

I only used C20 Kzarka, C20 Dande and C20 Kutum for grinding, and I don't have any problems, I'm still getting a decent number of silvers. I've been doing this for almost 3 years now, and I'm rich.
Although I don't grind in end game spots such as in Ulukita, Crypt, or Oluns, I only grind in Under Gyfin, Ash Forest, and Giants.
Too much AP is also not good unless you are grinding in a zone which requires really high AP, if you just want a chill grind, then I think it's okay not to go Blackstar weapons.
Also, Extra Damage to [Humans, Demi-Humans, Kamasylvia Mobs, etc] is much better than having more AP in some end game spots if you reached the maximum AP limit there.
Also, I don't know why you are suggesting Ogre Ring instead of Tungrad Necklace, the price of both accessories is not that huge, Tungrad Neckalce give more 20% BSR which is kinda good in PvE if you ask me.
Also, you cannot blame them if they want to go TET Tungrad Earrings at first rather than TET BDE, the tungrad earrings are very much cheaper lol, the price of both is huge, do you think a new player can afford that? TET Tungrad Earring is around 3b to 5b, while the TET BDE is 19b to 20b+, if you are a new player, and not much of a grinder in the game, then this is very hard for you.

No its because pen distos are not all that great end game. You typically run a narc at kama spots, or a dawn so you can drop an acc crystal for an ap one.

Dude are you even know what is accuracy Ap Monkey meta is passed it was before like 6 years ?? Who really want to build a dominant char. GO EVASION AND DO MAKE YOUR ACCURACY 960+ ap does not matter if anyone thinks thats wrong they can try with their friends or clan members. 281 ap is can kill 420 dp DR. 281 ap can not hit any scratch to 420 dp evasion. 309 ap can dominate 420 dp dr and still if he don't have accuracy can not make any damage. So accuracy is the key do not forget. DR is for only people who needs to enjoy one shotted by people. UH AH BUT I DO NOT HAVE ANY EVASION PASSIVE IN MY CLASS. Then go with your add-ons and crystals bruh. And if you think accuracy is only important in pvp no you can farm Ash forest with low ap.

This is the simplest mmo to gear in. Every slot has an obvios bis and there is almost no build diversity. I don't get it.

this is just wrong...certain classes excel with different build paths, Dr has numerous ways it can be built to fit end game depending on your goals (ap monkey, acc/ap, full acc, Dr Stack+ap) with the exception of blackstar weapons and fg armors theres no obv bis for accessories
I knew this was going to be my mistakes and i see it... I am also wearing 3 dead god armor and pen tuvala accessories...
