The monster handlers didn’t have to redesign the map again, but they did, because they care about their audience, something very rare in any gaming industry nowadays, not just mobile
1:00 this is when I remember first playing. I used to play this a lot when I was younger. Then I forgot about the game, and I rejoined when I choose to revisit some of my childhood games. And I stayed. I joined back right when they added magical sanctum.
@@MSMthealtfire1234 I remember EVERYONE hated it when they changed it, but looking back it was pretty user friendly. of course there weren’t as many islands so you didn’t have much to maintain and check daily.
I know many were used to the old map, but comparing the 2.2.4 Map to the 4.2.0 Map shows exactly why it needed a change like this. The new one is amazing, especially for having notification icons. Hopefully they iron out the loading further in the future.
And to think that this game started off with just _two_ islands when it’s in alpha (three if you count Air Island coming soon), and it would’ve ended with the release of Gold island…the game wouldn’tve lasted as long as it does now…11 years of still running, gaining players, working with frequent updates, and have over HOURS of content to enjoy, all in one game that was once as small as having only two islands to have their songs waiting to be completed, leading up to Air Island’s release weeks later. I first joined MSM when it was in the midst of its hiatus of releasing islands, until the release of Celestial Island, roughly around 2017-2018 when Wublin Island is still releasing new Wublins every month, up until Celestial Island’s release.

Idk why but I really like the outer space vibe and how the islands have their corresponding elements.
