Growing up in COGIC in Brooklyn and ordained an itinerant deacon and an elder I would always get excited about the Clark sister especially Twinkie Clark. She’s just so versatile and talented. Whether she is playing the organ or piano while directing her sisters or a choir, Twinkie is AMAZING WOMAN OF GOD. One quiet Sunday at GAC in Queens NY, we ministers proceeded in and heard this soulful organ music. After praying in at the ministerial pew, I took a look at who was playing the organ. When I saw Twinkie Clark, I lost it. I started screaming her name and did shuffle. When I looked at the other ministers sitting so stoic and reserved, I told them who that lady was at the organ. They looked at me and shrugged their shoulders. Well, I praised God by myself anyhow. You see, I forgot I was in an AME Church. I just honor this woman of God, her mother and sisters. I love Twinkie Clark and her phenomenal gift for writing music and playing the organ and piano. I have VHS tapes of her playing and singing.

They are incredibly awesome. I meet Dorinda Clark Cole years back. She had a very pleasant and sweet spirit. At least that’s what I picked up. 3:51 Growing up COGIC and let me tell they got that mark on them.
