I really enjoyed this song (and the others) @ Eden on 13th July .. Soo nice to hear local talent .. the crowd loved you too Ruarri!! Hope to hear more from you soon :) Keep up the good work xx
Probably my fave gig ever: The Watering Hole - Ruarri Joseph, The Hitchcock Rules, The Noel Prior Band, and, if I'm not mistaken, Joe Francis and The Ammunition. Epic night. Ruarri singing a cappella after a mishap with a guitar - brought the house down and I couldn't buy a CD from you because you had sold out (I'm not surprised). Top night filled with endless talent. I'm so lucky to have been there.
Haha, I've never noticed before the old man tapping the camera lens at the beginning, and the little blinking clips of Ruarri playing when he does. How clever. This song is brilliant :3
Great new video and love this song already. Really looking forward to getting the new album. Do you mind me asking who directed the video. Also were the 'home video' segments recorded with an old 8mm camera or is that just an effect?
"We produced and shot it, it was shot on a Sony Z1 (plus a PD170 as a second cam on the live stuff) and I shot it wobbly style to get the cine feel and the editor did the effect (very well done too). The performance was shot live in December and the rest was shot in Suffolk in one day."
love this as much today as the first time I heard it! His new tunes are beyond brilliant! So need him to come to the USA!
This is the best to date Ruarri, love it,still gets me going!

He is amazing! I saw him at the Eden Project and will see him again in Hammersmith this Friday!
