I think the closest thing we have to a gacha game that plays like DMC is, well, Wuthering Waves. Mind you tho, i LOVE Zenless, but as much as i liked it, it still has yet to be close on having a DMC-like gameplay.
Even Kuro's and Hoyo's previous games, PGR and HI3rd, in which are both hack and slash games, has yet to get close to the likes of DMC. Though for me, PGR comes second after WuWa, and HI3rd too but only with their APHO mode and their part-2 characters.

Not really but in terms of gameplay the game caters to 10 years old. The game's combat system is holding your hands during combat like forcing you to do switch link attack the parry is only usable when you swap and no need to press parry again and again when an enemy uses a sequence attack if you parry the first hit it will automatically parry the entire chain sequence.
