Thank you for your reaction. Because of your musical background, your appreciation of Wendy's vocals really magnifies my already tremendous respect & admiration for this wonderful person. I think she was hinting at SSW2 maybe? for that repeat invite. LMJ Service was a pleasant surprise for Wluvs. We thought we had to wait for the next wolo to see her there. The past few days, with RV3 and Killing Voice as well, have been days of abundance to luvies...
You have impeccable taste! Wendy is my ultimate female bias! Wendy's vocals are crazy good! How can such a big voice come out of someone so small?! Your reaction was so good! Subscribed!
Lovely reaction, thank you! I cried too when I first heard her song Like Water. It was my first time listening to Wendy as I was not yet a kpop fan at the time and didn't know any Red Velvet songs before discovering Wendy. She has such an emotional, warm and dexterous voice that makes it really comforting to hear her sing.
The world of K-Pop has other great singers like Taeyeon, IU and even Ailee no disrespect to them but Wendy is the ultimate singer/vocalist and i'm not saying this because she and Red Velvet are trending right now i'm just speaking my truth here. Wendy is the Korean Whitney Houston no doubt about it.
How about Wendy is... just Wendy. Imo there is no one like her, and no one whom she likes to be. We all know about her vocals, but I think Wendy as a person with those vocals is one of a kind. She's a unique and singular human being. Labelling her as "... of K-pop" or "the Korean ..." is reductive and almost (almost!) condescending, or at least dismissive of her originality..
Agreed! Wendy is one of a kind. She's not Whitney, Mariah or Celine of kpop. She has her own special qualities and personality that makes her unique. 💙@@meongikkeo
Always seated for her vocals (and perpetually falling off that seat), but her personal qualities are even more impressive to me (grace, humility, generosity)💙@@xinccinx
Wow! I'm surprised to know Wannie's your bias and you know so much about her already :) ... I myself have her as an Ultimate bias for past 6 years, so I'm seeing thru reactions that it's kinda becoming rare to see full-on senior Luvies/Wendyluvs reactions, who are fully invested in them.
Also, since you asked about her musical, it went by very well apparently from all the sources I've read on Insta and X. Sadly, there were no photos or videos allowed during the play on any days (except for ending stage on curtain call days), so you may not have seen it. She did a wonderful job even though it was her debut between the very experienced people :) ... She cried on the last performance as she got very close with her cast mates, who treated her like a baby since she was the maknae there :D ... I could definitely see the change in the strength of her tone during the SMTOWN live performances in Jakarta and then I understood how much she must've trained for it. I feel that's why she was so comfortable here and in killing voice :)

Wendy and melomance song is the best and always on repeat! She's one of my favourite female singers.

Wow, I interpret Wendy as the Mariah Carey of Kpop.

She's not the best of her generation. She's the GOAT 🐐. I'm out!
