I hate my DMC1/CD but I did not know what I was getting into when I purchased it. My home alarm company installed it about 9 years ago. It has always been qwerky but finally the other day I had a near lightning strike at the house and the screen that shows the time went blank. I called my alarm company and they told me they stopped servicing those units because they were so much trouble. So I found a local MS repair place and the guy told me MS will not service or sell parts and I would have to buy a whole new unit for $2000. I dont even want a CD player anymore, I have Alexa and Googles throughout the house. Nor do i need the door chimes since I have installed Ring I would just like to get the intercom working again and the time to come up on the face plate. Is there a possiblility that there are some fuses I can replace? I found the reset switch and pressed it but nothing happened. thanks for any help
