Most of these drawings are from the design and boarding phase of their respective films, before the final designs were pinpointed with mandatory model sheets. While there are variations between individual artists even in final animation, they're not as glaring as in the design phase. Even the introductory Spongebob examples are from differnt seasons.
The “styles” you show are development art, when lots of designs are being explored and considered. You’re not doing your viewership any favors by suggesting that these are anything other than what they are.
This is the worst channel for spreading misinformation. The guy just makes stuff up. Ignorant of the process or he's doing it purposely to generate clicks.
2:20 WTF is that Shan Yu design. He doesn't even look human. It's like they shaved a mutant bear and put him in clothes. Sure the villain is forgettable, but at he ended up with a better design.
The title of the vid as well as the thumbnail seems to put emphasis on the drawings you were going to show but they got like .5 seconds of screen time i missed pausing twice while rewinding to just look at the scar picture. The video editor needs to slow this video down by .75 and the guy needs to stop talking like he's nervously trying to get through all the info asap The video can be 3 minutes long... it's not a bad thing.
Chris Sander was cooking with those designs!! :DDD
Chris Sanders is always cooking. 🔥
Chris sanders design of scar definitely makes him look scary

Yes! There's a big difference between drawing "off model" and doing early concept sketches.
Wow These animators we’re cooking up their own style with these characters here

Chris Sander's Scar looks like the old monster art for Final Fantasy! XD
This reminds me of Steven Universe, everytime they changed storyboarders the artstyle changed
AW Cute and creepy is so fitting in the most loving way
2:15 He's the angry video game lion
Aren’t most of those a rough draft of characters before pinning the final design
yo that scar is totally better.
