This week I kick-off my series #WordsAndMakeup!
Although they are supposed to be fictional stories, today I share a true story from my makeup school days that I hope you’ll like.
Comment what kind of stories you'd like me to elaborate on. For example, the series is about a makeup artist (me) who works in a retail store that is like Sephora but a metaphysical one. All the makeup available there has additional and magical properties. We can create whatever scenarios we want!

The video contains whitenoise (my fridge) and I sing a little bit towards the end of the video. I mostly speak in a soft voice. The video is hardly edited at all - it’s more lo-fi / old school ASMR style.

Immediately baby’s breath flowers came to mind, shades of white, pale yellow and pale pink, based on this and that you mentioned your favorite colors of the lighter/neutral shades of pink I guessed the eye shadow would be a light/neutral pink. :)

One of my favorite videos/ recordings that you've done is the pink moon podcast story about red lipstick. This just topped it!
I've been wanting to play around with bolder colored eyeshadows recently. When I heard your eyeshadow name, I thought of a light blue with more of a grey tone. I've got a new eyeshadow palette with that color and all I'm thinking of is using it as a liner color or inner corner pop of bright color.

Loved this, and I can't wait for more videos in this series! ♥ Blue eyeshadows are really hard for me to use. I am quite warm toned, and even if I use warm blues, I have a hard time making them work for me. I usually have to use it together with warm purples or greens for it to look better. Or wear them as eyeliner, paired with soft brown eyeshadows. Take care, Somni!
