4:15 so the lion one, usually lone male lions, or male lions that have taken over a pride, will get rid of the cubs from previous male lions, so in this clip I think the female was protecting her cubs.

Not only that but if food is scarce male lions will resort to eating cubs even their own. Chances sre they are his cubs and he wqs just being curious but the lioness rather be safe than sorry.

I broke up with a girl for littering like that. We were only on like a second or third day but she threw rubbish out of the car window. I stopped and picked it up and asked her why she did it and she said, "Why should I care, not my problem - lol" or words to that effect and I said I didn't want to date someone who saw the world in the way. I realised she only cared about herself and was a very spoiled girl.

Indeed they should be disqualified for interference as they had not won, not crossed the line and grabbed another racer who was about to win first place. The race is not over until they cross the line.
I agree with you all,but the first runner was the fastest,and the crowd knew it,even if second place did come and see win,he will always remember that it would be a cheap win,cause he was clearly behind the first place,first place did deserve to win,but his gloating and early cheering was just plain stupid.

Well we don't know that. They will eat their own cubs if food is scarce. Sometimes just the fact their scent changed slightly makes him think they aren't his when they are. The lioness is just better safe than sorry. Thats if there was even cubs. He very well could have just annoyed her and there is no cubs
Lionesses will always stay away from the father until the cubs are older. It's likely this male lion was patrolling his territory and happened to stumble upon them.

Firstly, I don't watch any of those shows, and I have no idea how anyone can. Secondly, most (if not all) of those shows are scripted to at least some degree. And the participants all know about it. Discreetly (or not) filming a stranger is weird as hell.

The rule is there for a reason. It's meant to prevent people from taking guesses on when the start gun is shot, since sub 100ms reaction time is simply not possible. If you have a sub 100ms reaction time, you decided to start early and hope they pull the trigger at the same time instead of waiting to hear the shot and then starting. By doing this you also reduce the amount of false starts which are really taxing for the runners.

The point of the rule is that you ARE jumping the gun if you are that fast. The human body cannot react to the sound of the starting gun fast enough to push off that fast. The actual time is really more than 0.1 seconds, but they made it that to be safe. He definitely jumped the gun.

4:11. The male lion was actually most likely going to kill the cubs. This is because he has most likely taken over as alpha of the pack recently and these cubs belong to the last alpha. If a female lion already has cubs with another alpha, she will not procreate with the new alpha unless her existing cubs die. It's a messed up world.
